almost everyone on SNL was very talented and basically none of them became shit except Jordan Peele, and he joined pretty late. Wouldn't shock me if Lorne got them blacklisted from movies or some shit.

late 90s and early 00s race based comedy was so great. it didn't feel like a cheap or legitimate attack on anyone, it was genuinely funny, and it never felt forced. imagine if something on the air today tried anything remotely close to this.

only successful Mad alums i can think are besides Key & Peele are Artie Lange (before he fucked up his career becayse he couldnt stop snorting drugs and now his face is melting) that jew looking guy from the Big Bang Theory who lets face it nobody even rememebers was ever on Mad TV, and Ms Swan for Family Guy and whatever that show she keeps winning Emmys for now. A few others like Phil LaMarr and Dave Herman are pretty big cartoon voice guys and probably make boatloads of money doing all those cartoons. How the fuck didnt Will Sasso become a megastar? If he was on SNL instead Will Ferrell at the time the better Will (sasso!) would be the one who became the huge movie star instead.
