it's worth watching despite the drop in quality.

I only watched the first season because the ending made it obvious there was nowhere to go but down, but I enjoyed the world building aside from the anachronistic missing foreskins on the male robots. The writing was hot ass though and the show went absolutely nowhere. They should have spent more time talking about the nature of minds and building up to the possibility of the robots gaining sentience so S2 could be the original movie style massacre and fight for survival from our human protagonists. Instead it's all shitty plans within plans and retarded plots within plots that had zero payoff.

S2 is great. The problem is that the world, and this board in particular, is filled with people who have an IQ of 80, but think they have a 180, and so when simple ideas and plots fly over their heads, they convince themselves that the writers are at fault. It's like a dog not understanding geometry, and blaming math.

That's not to say that season 1 wasn't better, it was. But season 2 was still better than most anything on TV, and has two of the best hours in the series.
