This web-series was a fucking masterpiece.
At the risk of getting shit on

Quality of the show went to shit after season 6 though...
Blood Gulch Chronicles yes.
Everything else Hell no
they have the most insufferable fanbase
I want her to dom me
i watched the entire first season and did not laugh once
It was trash once they started getting into Tex's backstory IIRC.
The minute they tried to tell a more serious story (i.e post-blood gulch), it became way less fun.
Based and Churchpilled.
Never got it. Granted I've only ever played Halo over at friends' houses and never owned an Xbox, but RvB always confused me as a concept (I watched rooster teeth's Minecraft let's plays so I was aware of it)
Blood gulch and Coag seasons were fantastic if my memory serves, which it probably doesn’t, and when they went to Zanzibar(?) it nosedives
When did you watch? Its one of those things where the comedy style has gotten less and less unique overtime so people now wouldn't understand what the hype was about. RvB is almost cringe-tier under a modern lens but shit was fucking hysterical back in the day.
I know this isn't popular to say but I loved the serious storyline and the cgi fightscenes. The comedy was funny but I liked the later seasons better.
haha halo assets frustrated yelling so funny
based. fuck this shit company
For me, it’s PANICS
pure onions
ITS A LEGITIMATE STRATEGY
Fuck, anybody remember the ABSOLUTE KINO exchanges at the beginning of every episode between the director and the chairman
youtube.com
This is peak webseries
Sarge was the best character and you’re a monumental pleb if you disagree
That's not Tucker
Tucker isn’t even as good as Caboose or Church
It was a perfect web comedy until Halo 3
For me, it’s Civil Protection.
blood gulch chronicles were GOAT back in the day, got convoluted and bad later on iirc
based
Can someone give me a quick run down on Rooster Teeth? Why is Geoff depressed?
Yeah, as people have said, the moment they started taking themselves seriously, the show went downhill.
got divorced, no? Also think he took a sabbatical and got sober so I think he's doing better
I haven't kept up on RT much in the last 4 years but I think I can answer your Geoff question
1: Alcoholic
2: Divorced multiple times
3: Own child doesn't respect him
4: RT and Lets play are past there peak years and he knows it
>Was
That's correct
I would argue 7 and 8 were pretty good, 9 was probably the full extent they should have used motion capture, it was used sparingly. Not like what would follow.
I mean the fanbase is consistently 12-22, everyone older loses interest.
I will get shit on for this opinion, but seasons 6, 7 and 8 would have been a great way to end the series as a trilogy of movies.
As someone who stopped watching the show at the start of season 12, have any of the seasons since been worth a watch?
It's a little sad too because you can see the shift from his daughter idolizing him when she was younger to thinking he's a deadbeat now.
Not really
This show does this weird thing where if you just start it for the first time, you're so invested in it you HAVE to watch it to the end of where they last made episodes. Even if you damn well know it turned to shit a while ago, you're strung along too far by now to NOT finish it. It's not worth the effort. The last time I thought it was worth watching was when there was Halo 4 shenanigans and they stuck to comedy again for a good long while. But then they decided to get edgy again and it went to shit.
