>Joby Harold and Dan Mazeau are hired to write a brand new script in 2017. The project is changed into an adaptation of “Flashpoint” with Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher and Jeffrey Dean Morgan eyed to star alongside Miller. Story centers on the bond between Batman and Flash. Reverse Flash is the villain.

>Script is revised multiple times due to Affleck's and Cavill's departures from the DCEU following the flop of JUSTICE LEAGUE. Robert Zemeckis, Matthew Vaughn, Sam Raimi, Marc Webb and Tim Miller are approached to direct, but all decline.

>John Daley & Jonathan Goldstein are hired to write and direct in 2018. They scrap “Flashpoint” in favor of a lighthearted standalone time-travel adventure. Reverse Flash is the villain. Daley & Goldstein clash with Miller, who demands a darker story in line with Snyder's original vision. Miller recruits Grant Morrison to write his own draft, which is rejected by WB, and considers leaving the project. WB persuades him to stay, while Daley & Goldstein drop out.

>Andy Muschietti is hired to direct in 2019. Christina Hodson writes a new script said to be “unconventional” and in line with the tone sought by Miller. Production slated to begin in January 2018.

Who fucking cares

This. We've already had enough enough Flash exposure on television, and 3 movie Quicksilver appearances.
No one wants Queersilver.

Flash > Quicksilver, though.

The whole issue is that the Flash is constantly being used by writers who don't give a shit about the comics.
A Flash movie should be pretty easy to pen: The first movie establishes the Rogues, second movie introduces Grodd, and the third movie features Reverse Flash with the Flash reluctantly teaming up with the Rogues. If you actually enjoy the comics, it isn't hard to figure out.

>The whole issue is that the Flash is constantly being used by writers who don't give a shit about the comics.
That isn't the issue at all. The issue is that the Flash has now been attached to three separate attempts at creating a cinematic universe that all failed for different reasons.

Grodd can't carry a movie.

Can anyone explain to me how the Flash doesn't btfo every single DC character in existence, with the exception of maybe Superman? Isn't his speed magic the most powerful thing in the universe, he outran death once didn't he

>Goyer
i always burst out laughing when i'm reminded of this surname, what the fuck?

>>Script is revised multiple times due to Affleck's and Cavill's departures from the DCEU following the flop of JUSTICE LEAGUE.

I still remember how we told the DCfags this for months on end and they were in such denial and cope (some think they'll still be back).

When Marvelchads tell you something is going to happen, you shit the fuck up and listen from now on. Spoiler alert: there will be NO Flash film in the next 5-6 years.

#We'reAlwaysRight

There will never be a good live action Flash

>Production slated to begin in January 2018
Uhhhh don't you mean January 2020?

He definitely can. Flash going to the ape city and Grodd overthrowing their government to start of war is definitely movie material.

If you read every idea they have for a Flash movie, it's clear they don't give a fuck about the comics to the point where it's a doomed project.

Flash's rogues are too goofy, even for capeshit

KYS Ladderbro

Fun fact: Captain Cold aka Leonard Snart is named after the "Burp Snart" from Adam Sandler's Grown Ups 2

Ezra= flash
cage = captain cold
matt berry = Grodd
jessica Chastain= Mommy Allen
>Barry using his police scientist skills gets Len Snart (cage) put in jail for a string of daring heists
>Barry working late at night gets hit by lightning
>his gf (Dakota Blue) visits him in hospital and mentions how quickly he's recovering
>Barry learns he has speed powers
>naming himself after his favorite golden age comic he read as a kid calls himself The Flash
>various super speed rescues
>Snart (in prison) gets a visitor who gives him a bday cake
>its his cold gun (he used during his heists)
>he escapes and becomes Captain Cold
>the person who got him out of jail hires him to steal a gem
>Cold gets it to the "mob boss" after escaping flash
>turns out its Gorilla Grodd
>Flash fights grodd both are hurt but grodd escapes
>Flash gets a psychic call from Gorilla city
>Flash and GF visit Gorilla city
>they learn all about Grodd and what the gem will do (gives the gorilla super duper psychic powers to take over world)
>flash and cold have to team up to stop Grodd

Can't wait for the JOKERized take on Flash where it's a remake of Speed but with Flash as the bus

Time doesn't matter to The Flash

What are peoples' ideas for the suit redesign?

Everyone always complains about the DCEU Flash suit but I never see specifically what people would change

Attached: 1567174042591.png (559x919, 919K)

The tranny in the suit should be thrown in Detroit where it can be raped by hoodlums

why does he have the hips of a woman

You're an actual retard if you believe this. The producers of these films aren't cancelling them because the scripts aren't close enough to the comics. If caring about the source material were a prerequisite for producing a film, then we'd have far fewer films released every year.

The best way to move this project forward is to fire that retarded faggot tranny kike Ezra Miller and cast an actual good Barry Allen

Seething and cope

>Daley & Goldstein clash with Miller, who demands a darker story in line with Snyder's original vision.
Holy fuck. I had no idea Ezra was this based.

get rid of the crisscrossing spiderman webs
make it more like superman and batmans suit as opposed to armor

rent free

Honestly the main thing for me is getting rid of the weird cables/ropes. They don’t fit with the idea of the fastest man alive, they make it look like he’s all cobbled together and about to fall apart. The rest honestly isn’t that bad

screenrant.com/flash-movie-ezra-miller-vision-win-warner-bros/
>With Miller’s vision winning out and the boarding of Muschietti and Hodson, all signs point to Miller’s involvement in Fantastic Beasts as a major factor in Warner Bros. decision to keep him in the role and offer a compromise towards his vision for The Flash.

Based gaychad BTFO capeshit execs in the spirit of keeping capekino alive.

If it's too deviated it won't stick around long enough to get made now, even if it's skin deep. Pandering is the only way these movies survive now.

Please go back to Yea Forums. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Flash should not look metallic. The cable ropes thing would have made sense if the suit looked like it were slapped together in a garage, like if it were all normal clothing and the wires kept everything bound tightly while absorbing excess electricity and feeding to a backpack (for example).. but the rest of the suit looking like an advanced gundam mech throws off that line of thought. It's too complicated, it has no definition, it blends in with the background.
