It’s a little jarring to see such a completely realized sandbox and no other guests playing in it. The blue milk is as sweet and delicious as you’ve heard.

I think my family is going to Disney World next year in September. Seems like the best time. A lot of new stuff will be open, but there will still be a lot of construction going on gearing up for the 50th anniversary in 2021, so I think a lot of people will be waiting for that, so hopefully low crowds.

I also remember requesting food delivery from the African hotel in the concierge at no extra charge since I'm a """guest""" at this hotel. The only thing this hotel couldn't do for me was put me in priority reservation lists in Cinderella Castle and the Beauty and the Beast one.

My favorite when I was young was the polynesian resort. Its probably really fucking expensive now though. The contemporary resort is legit only good for the buffet they have, everything else is a mad house which could be a plus or a minus depending on who you are.

Winters in Seattle are pretty mild, and there are shelters and the like to take them in. It's true that part of the reason the west coast is full of homeless is the mild weather.

The craftsmanship and attention to details in this place is amazing. My only complaints are that you have two rides (one wasn't even completed yet) and the rest is just shopping, but even just looking in the shops is really interesting because of all the little details. It sucks that it's only the new Star Wars stuff though, would have been awesome to see even some stuff from Episodes 1-3.

I went to Disneyland and stayed at one of the hotels 15 minutes from the park. My next trip I plan to stay at one of the better hotels and preferably one in the park. What can you guys recommend? Is it crazy expensive and not worth it? Our plan is to save up and go all out and buy the silly souvenirs and eat all the overpriced themed food, but if it's double the price of the other hotels and it just has a mickey mouse painting on the wall then it's not worth it.

Our plan is to go back during October in a couple years. So we want to save up a lot of money for our trip and get the best hotel and the best food and the best souvenirs and spend 4 days between the two parks and 1 day at universal. I really enjoy the classic Disney stuff and just looking at the artwork and the way they built the rides. My favourite ride is probably Alice in Wonderland just because of the details and how interesting it is. It captures that magic of Disney that you felt as a kid. StarWars is cool but I'm not a fan of the new trilogy so it was kind of a letdown. The blue/green milk was okay but I don't even know which part of the movie it is from.

When you went did they update Space Mountain to Hyperspace Mountain? It is Starwars themed now. It was okay but not as magical as I remember from when I was a kid (back in the early 90's) and that is probably just because of nostalgia.

The last two times we have gone to Disney World we rented a condo about 10 minutes south through VRBO. We went to one park in the morning, went back home for lunch and a nap (kids 4,6) then went back to a different park in the evening. Worked great. Didn't have to pay for every meal in the parks or at restaurants and it was nice and quiet.
