This show fucking sucks

why was it shilled here? Started off strong but that's about it, endless scenes that go nowhere, that Lenny actress with her stupid overacting 'lol look I'm so quirky', minimal action, garbage pacing, and that insufferable tit who plays Oliver. Just fuck

lol I dropped it at season 2 episode 1, it's incredibly pretentious.

Fuck you I liked it.

>man with mental illness has super powers and fucks two women out of his league

Can't imagine why it was liked here

Dan Sevens isn't out of anybody leave

Sure thing phone schizo

He's just another Eton prick

it's almost like girls are attracted to damaged bois because they take it like a crafts project they can fix and mold how they want

I just watched the first season, which was great up until that goofy after credits scene. That after credits scene, and the fact that they even had an after credits scene, convinced me to stop watching and just enjoy the first season in all its glory. If you kept watching, it's your own damn fault. You were warned.

It hasn't been shilled here since halfway through season 3, when the showrunner suspended all rules of narrative writer in order to make his feminazi self-insert character magically blameless for any of her actions and 'redeemed' without having to put any work into herself at all.

>two women out of his league
bruh... if anything, he is out of their league.

>quirky dancing intensifies

What happened?

it's a "people focus their hate on the female lead who opposes the main character" episode

The reverted Sid back to a baby and had her re-raised into a pure, 'good' person within one episode.
Please, you dumb cunt, it's literally something they teach you not to do in any writing class. All growth must be earned. It must be experiences. It must come due to the character's actions and their responses to the actions of others.
It should not just be written as 'evil bitch does nothing, and thanks entirely to the actions of others, suddenly becomes good through deus ex machina'.

>The reverted Sid back to a baby and had her re-raised into a pure, 'good' person within one episode.
That wasn't even what happened. David wiped her mind, the whole growing up was about rebuilding it in an astral-plane safe environment, which is why Oliver opposed the wolfman character and his influence.

That's exactly what happened to the extent that it matters to the show.
Every bit of so-called character growth came down to the actions of other people, required no actual struggle for Sid herself, and was basically put on her because the plot the showrunner wanted demanded it. She didn't earn it at all. She didn't struggle for it. It was just gifted to her.

Stopped watching half through season 2.
I felt like it was just being confusing just for the sake of being confusing.

It'll make sense when you watch it high.

Exactly.

>tfw you have such an excellent 6th sense for garbage media that you know from just the advertisements it would be dumpster tier

I liked it then the 2nd finale did a complete 180 soured my mood a bit. I watched some of the third season it wasn't bad. I didn't expect the third season finale to end the way it ended but I liked it . After David said sorry to Sid I thought she was going to say sorry too, I guess not.

>this thread
no wonder you faggots jerked off The Boys so much.

You're a retard.

The Boys was fantastic.

Dan Stevens can do no wrong

dan stevens is a billion times more attractive than that hoe plaza

Capeshit gets a pass no matter how juvenile and shitty it is because this board is polluted by shitty juveniles.

It started out great but, it was like someone went, "hey, lets get some women to help write this", and then it went to shit.

just stop plz

>out of his league

I liked the episode where they talked about alternate time lines and potentialities. That had action and nice effects and didn’t really forward the story. It felt self contained, short and sweet.

That’s a nice jacket

Pretentious zoomers love to like stuff nobody likes that is of poor quality. It gives them an identity.

Lol got em

You saved yourself. Season 2 was incredibly awful. Just "art" piece fucking pretentious garbage. There is literally an entire fucking episode devoted to his girlfriend doing the "if you don't know why I'm mad I'm not telling you" thing. Literally the episode is just that. And holy shit, somehow season 3 seems to be even worse. I got about 1 minute into the first episode then just started skimming and I don't even think David even shows up but for a like a few minutes or something.

>Legion was axchually good before [insert general complaining about wimmin]
Hahaha NO.

The Boys wasn't pretentious arthouse bullshit.

I fucking guarantee you the artsy fartsy bullshit is a man's doing. 100%

Haha

I thought that was true too, but here I am.
