Those were all me. This thread was also made by me. The replies below are also me.

I'm 24 and I still live at home

Because the stars shine

Im 25 and same

t. me

I'm 28 and still live at home

29 year old loser here

pretty normal as long as you're moving forward in other ways.

>mfw I made that post and I'm 33

lmao imagine going to Yea Forums when you're older than 19

...

Me too. On the one hand, my bank account is growing quickly with very few expenses. On the other hand, I hate myself, have very few friends and haven't been laid in 2 years.

Hey when I sign up for unemployment mind if I call myself "Joker"?

One day I'll beat your record

Because I'm a 23yo boomer and it triggers me

Some guy samefagged a bunch of times and then other people replied to the popular post

we are neither boomer nor zoomer friend, 1995-1996 are lost between the cushions of the generational couch

Same here bud.

Same here, also a NEET

Are you mentally ill? How do you rationalize how much of a burden you are to your family?

46 and same

do your parents allow you to eat chicken sandwiches?

good question

Been there, I'm 27 and I've only been out of the house for a year and a half

i'm 34 and live with parents, haven't worked a day in my life

did a pedo with a choker fetish make this?

I wish I saw more of these threads so I would be shamed enough to move.

>my bank account is growing quickly
Good. This will set up well. Move out when you have a decent little nest egg. Building your savings while living on your own sucks because it takes forever to save up for a down payment for a house and other things while shelling out for rent.

no

pretty sure it's a movie about ballerinas, take that for what you will

I'm in my 30s, have a PhD, a semi-successful career with multiple scientific publications and a 6 figure income and I'm jelly as fuck.

How are you a boomer? You were probably born in 96 right?, so your childhood took place in the early 2000s and teenage years in the 2010s. Millennials were already young adults when you were just becoming a teen and their childhood was somewhere in the 90s

i still live at home but my family is poor.
my mom doesn't work and my brother makes little money so i essentially am the head of the house
it sucks

HAHAHAHA LOOK AT THIS LOSER
My life still has a year and a half to turn around

>27yr never had a job neet
>mom doesnt care if i get a job
>gives me $100 every month
>only have to cook dinner for her and me every night

>tfw when my 7yr old asked me why I'm always on "4 channel dot org" today

Attached: 1568777056188.jpg (720x405, 17K)

honestly that's a fantastic rate for your mom to pay for a live in chef
I hope you're decent at it

I was working up until 20 from 16, 14 if you count paper rounds

I am 32, never could get a job again and I don't know why

once you are out 3 years its basically fuck you forever, really affected my mental health after that, started getting anxious and the creeping feeling my life is wasted, I was right which made it worse

completely fucking stuck , you can apply to 100 jobs and only get 3 sorry emails and you know they are automated

feels like if I ever got a job I would be completely out of touch

>WELL LOOK WHO FINALLY CAME OUT OF HIS CAVE

Attached: file.png (480x325, 294K)

About to turn 30
Buying a house with my mom 50/50 soon

I wasn't always a neet but now I am and I'm loving every moment of it. Wish I became a neet sooner. Had to get fucked up on the job and get disability for it to happen, but boy was it worth it.

can't you just talk to a psychiatrist and say the anxiety is that bad and get on neet bux

Don't come at the youth send you back to where you came from

>unemployed for 6 years
>no matter where I apply, nobody responds
>unless it's an automated e-mail rejection
>one day I pick up a book in the library about construction workers in the 1950's
>they just walk up to a foreman and ask for work face-to-face, get it
>my parents tell me that's how it used to be and I should try that
>I do
>get a job
I had no fucking idea

If I had a job the anxiety would have gone away instead of piling regret and missed life

also the fact that even your own family wouldn't help, "oh user my work its hiring but I don't really want to work in the same place so I didn't get an application

wtf

can't do that where I am, you need licenses so insurance will cover them

only works with actual, you know, men.
doesn't work with HR cunts.
and sometimes even actual men have their hands tied by corporate.

>haha that's so true I will never be that old on Yea Forums

>hello i'm here about any possible opening can I see X
>yeh sure
>hello, sorry but you have to check out site for vacancies please visit recruiting.job and file an application online

us neets have no race
we're an ascended being

made fun of 25-30 year olds here when I was 18-19

here I am 10 years later, they are probably 40 now and too ashamed to admit it

Attached: hjdjehdwej.jpg (1152x922, 98K)

Shit bro that sucks. You should try the foreman tactic the other user suggested, I hear that also works at docks provided you can pull your weight and deal with being seasick. Otherwise try applying for other towns if you haven't already, even a rough restart is better than nothing. All I know is that asking face-to-face has some chances depending on the field, one user on /biz/ was once talking about how in his state (forgot where but it might have been Oregon or Texas) lots of people would go to the oil rigs and just ask for jobs on the spot rather than submit papers and wait, same for farmers and such.

How do you deal with the fact that one day your parents are going to die, leaving you with no one to support you? Even if you're an only child, so you inherit the house, doesn't mean you're going to be ok. Houses don't just pay for themselves there's all sorts of bills that will come in every month.
Say your parents do leave you a little bit of funds. That's eventually going to run out. Are you really going to waste all your time right now when you have a safety net until you absolutely NEED to get a job. Why put your future self under all that stress?

Based

can't get anywhere unless public transport gets to it timely

I am stuck in a 10 mile radius 15 at max

you can't be realistic in here

No it was me :)

Attached: smile.png (300x300, 41K)

In my country you have to apply for and accept jobs regardless of where they are and you get 9 euros a day for travel expenses if you're lucky. Saying you have no means of transport doesn't qualify as an excuse here.

based

weird

>transport doesn't start till 7
>jobs 18 miles away
>you got the job
>we will pay for your 3 buses that will get you there at 10am for your 8 am work shift!

I almost got a job at the fucking cinema and when they found I didn't have a car they said no

you know it wasn't long ago i remember being born after 1997 would get you a 30 day ban, and as far as I'm concerned IT SHOULD STILL BE THERE.

Look up guides on living off the streets if you have to and do it, tons of them online and they teach you how to last a pretty good while without going full hobo mode. It'll be rough as hell, especially when you aren't some 18yo anymore, but you're still young enough to take it and it's better than wasting the rest of your life away because you're afraid to take the risk. seriously, sell whatever old shit you have, and just take the shot.
Otherwise the only solution I see is go the digital route: learn some skill like programming with excel, Java, C++, 3D modeling (Solidworks and Autocad for instance) and try freelance work. You can also become an indie game dev with a patreon (porn games are a goldmine if you can draw decently), a digital artist or something like that. Lastly you can also become a youtuber/streamer and if you're really desperate you can submit yourself to all kinds of ridiculous shit on cam for the views and money. Frankly most ways out for you rn seem rough but I've legit seen people rise from the ground so where there's a will there's a way.

Basado y rojopila

I wonder how many anons here are over 50

Unemployment is a choice. You could buy a car with the money you make at your job, but you choose not to work so you can't buy a car to get to your job. That means we're going to halve your neetbucks for the next 5 months. Enjoy the church charity bread lines, they're only available to immigrants this month by the way so don't even try.

Because they're manchildren, but you knew that already. The only argument I've ever heard in response is "I'll be dead by then", which contradicts their claims that they're so happy and healthy compared to "wage slaves". I'm going nowhere in life but I'm still trying, even if I did get stuck at $10 an hour my whole life I could still save enough to retire.

It's much worse than that when you look at it more deeply. NEETs, especially those doing it by choice, put themselves entirely at the mercy of a self-destructive system that is quite literally impossible to sustain indefinitely. Sooner or later the money will run out when more and more live off neetbux and those paying for it decrease in number and wealth. Even if the system could be maintained long term, unless you're one of the minorities and immigrants it's aimed at you'll eventually be removed to make place for more of them. And should the economy falter or crash you're instantly fucked.
Plus lots of them are too used to abusing the safety net, so they have 0 sense of urgency, meaning they don't even think to invest their bux into profitable venues to build something.

it took hundreds of years of rome paying like 80% of their population neetbux for it to fail
calm down
those in power will do whatever they need to to stay in power and that means keeping things as they are
