Some actual proof? the regular show guys have actually come out and admitted that the show was directly based on an animated short about an acid trip they once had, the aqua teens are actually a spinoff of an episode of Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Baffler Meal, where Frylock and Shake have extremely different appearances, voices, and personalities (their voices are basically the same as the mooninites would end up being), that episode itself was based on the idea of space ghost seeking out soulless corporate sponsorship for his show from a fast food restaurant who sends their food mascots characters to the show. Every "weird" show is not based on an acid trip, and the relationships between the characters are actually very heavily grounded in typical sitcom dynamics, as are many of the plotlines despite the stock sitcom characters being replaced by absurd monsters and aliens.
If the creators said so I would believe them, but to my knowledge they haven't.
