Movies about Tinnitus?
Movies about Tinnitus?
WHAT?
Baby Driver
What?
And suddenly, it's a ReBoot gag.
I have tinnitus. It's basically a ringing in your ears, like the sound in call of duty when you get concussion grenade'd and it never goes away. It's fucking annoying and drives you crazy, but can blocked out with other noise. If you are listening to music or a conversation or even something like a fan blowing, you can completely forget about the ringing. Only when it's silent or you are reminded of it do you hear the ringing again. So fuck you for this thread.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>Finally starting to get over my tinnitus
>Start obsessing over eye floaters
I think I might just be OCD, I just want to enjoy my fucking life my retarded hyper aware brain won't let me
children of men
youtube.com
I have this shit, although it's very mild and only noticeable if it's dead silent and I'm drunk. First week I had it was the worst week of my life
tinnitus on acid is next level
I JUST WANT TO JAM A SCREWDRIVER IN MY EAR AND MAKE IT STOP
Can you believe it, you've already finished C! Do you think you're ready to do MATLAB?
How come you guys keep having this thread?
How come other people keep having their same threads?
Same
How come the EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEING NEVER FUCKING STOPS?
How do you guys have tinnitus at such a young age
how do you get that shit?
Guess that’s fair. I just don’t consider tinnitus to be movie related.
>tfw these threads always spook me and make me lower the volume so I don't end up having the same fate
The day tinnitus is cured I'm gonna blast music in my ears until I go deaf
Desert Storm
headphones is the main cause for most people but i got mine at a show
If I use headphones regularly, can I prevent this? How high can the volume be?
Spent my teen years riding quads, using power equipment and shooting without earpro.
these pieces of shit gave me tinnitus after one night. the fucking irony.
if you hear ringing in your ears after using headphones that eventually goes away then you are damaging you ears
if you dont stop using headphones at max volume then one day the ringing will never stop
i don't remember much else about this movie but i remember this scene every single time i get ringing
keep your headphones at 50%
Try living with that + suspected arthritis for which there is no surefire diagnosis
I fucking hate autoimmunity
>Tfw always was careful with headphone volume and listen to music at 20%
>Tinnitus for one year, still going strong
I want out. Feels like every loud sound I hear is added to a loop track in my ears
>sleepbuds
Are they for listening to music while sleeping? That sounds incredibly stupid and I'm surprised they are even allowed to sell it if true.
Won't help. It doesnt have to be ear. Could be some nerve malfunction.
I don't wear headpiones and never listen to loud music, I'm not living in noisy place either. My doctor says that is can be even caused by teeth or jaw that is somehow putting pressure on some nerves. It makes sense because if I open mouth very wide and start moving my jaw left to right, as far as it is possible, it intensifies.
It can be also related to your paranasal sinuses since ears are technically connected.
There are many causes, sometimes you are just born this way. It's nothing new and even ancients already knew about it.
I don't get it.
they play masking noises like white noise, waterfalls, etc. "campfire" apparently fucked my ears over.
went to my first concert a couple days ago, made sure to get the good concert ear plugs. I enjoy being isolated so much the idea of never having true silence again sounds awful. will never take it for granted.
>they play masking noises like white noise, waterfalls, etc.
Sue them. That shit's diabolical, it sounds designed to damage your ears. There must be thousands of people with the same problem.
How do I avoid the EEEEEEEEEEEEEEING bros?
>shooting without earpro
This is what got you above all else, you absolute retard.
>think I might be developing tinnitus but not sure if it's real because I have schizophrenia
Movies for this feel?
get a lawyer
How fucking loud do you niggers listen to music/movies? stop falling for the headphones meme and invest in some speakers and sound system. Best decision of my life. Even if i have to use headphones i do not go past the 50% mark.
sometimes its caused by too much earwax
clean your ears you filthy faggots
I've always had ringing in my ears since I was at least six years old. I vividly remember the first time I noticed it when my mom went out of the car to get something inside my grandad's house and the silence inside the car made me hear the ringing. It's still here to this day, and I don't know if it'll get better or worse
To get rid of tinnitus use Audacity or another audio software to create white noise that matches your tinnitus exactly, listen to it through headphones regularly and your brain will begin to ignore it.
pretty sure bose's lawyers would fuck mine up, even if i could afford one
the fuckers deleted my post on the official forum when i told them what happened
at least a handful of people said they experienced tinnitus from them
My ears got fucked by "loud memes", you know those memes where suddenly they turn the music up to 500% and zoom in or some shit? I played a video and it pulled that shit on me and suddenly boom tinnitus for life. I fucking hate it and never understand what people find funny about those videos.
Same. No idea where it came from or if it even qualifies as "real" tinnitus. But I've had a ringing for as long as I can remember.
if your phone has a warning, heed it, that shit is real. they're covering their ass for the upcoming army of zoomers with blown out ears. learn to focus on what you're listening to without blasting yourself. i often find that if i listen to something before i go to bed, then listen to it again in the morning on the same volume, it was loud as hell
go to a doctor mane
what kind of shit do you hear/see when your brain is pulling bullshit on you?
there's something in the inner ear that's supposed to safeguard from sudden loud bursts of sound like that
wonder why it doesn't work sometimes
google: class action lawsuit bose sleepbuds
There's no rule. It can be caused by loud music or age. Can be also an accident, even unfortunate fall. Also swimming, diving, even plane flight or mountain trip because of height and air pressure.
I also ktf of having both
Well this wouldn’t had happened if you didn’t have the volume turned more than 50% up. If you are alone in your room theres no reason to have headphones blasting.
Shot a gun once and now I have tinnitus for the past year- no heating damage either just eeeeeeeeeee
do you use ear protection??
Part headphones, part having an ND in my house, part noisey work environment
my tinnitus changes depending on the environment
i think it's because i have hearing loss/damage in very specific frequencies, so only certain sounds make it obvious
I have it but it’s never bothered me because I also have misophonia and it acts as white noise at night to drown out other people’s bullshit.
>once
/k/ disaproves of this faggotry
Also use ear pro and double up (ear muffs+plugs) at an indoor range
Take your meds PLEASE. One of my childhood friends got hit by train a couple years ago during one of his manic episodes. I know they make you feel like a zombie, but that's how everyone starts feeling when they get older. They energy and spark you have is not what neurotypical people experience.
On a side note can anyone else hear high pitched noises coming from anything thats plugged in to an electrical outlet? Is that normal? I have mild tinnitus btw.
yes, electronic noises are the worst
it's because the hearing damage is typically in higher frequencies, and your brain amps all of that up
>that's how everyone starts feeling when they get older
please tell me this is just a cope for people with no passions who let their bodies go to shit
I wear ear protection now bozo, it was just one time that I didn’t wear protection. Dad never has and he doesn’t have it
>ND
?
Thanks for making me notice it again asshole
Saving Private Ryan
>Suspected arthritis
I hope you take Tylenol around the clock. It's what they prescribe most old people with arthritis
I thought I was ''''hearing'''' silence when I was a child, but that was wrong. No idea how I even got it.
>tfw reading about it one day and realizing you have it
>tfw you can't turn it off
>eeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Negligent discharge. He or someone else fired guns indoors without protection. That shit will literally blow out your ear drums fyi.
thanks.
you have it ez mode mate I hear it all the time even listening to music. I have to hear something very loud to get a break and that likely damages my ears more. I'm generally fine but I nearly punched a chinese tourist once hiking because I was so angry I couldn't enjoy the peace anymore
how fucking horrifying
might as well take kidney failure inducing candy, Tylenol does jack shit for arthritis pain
Verbal abuse from my dad
I think I got it from diving too deep in a 3 metre swimming pool
Same, no explanation just had it all my life
I have chronic tinnitus since I was a kid. Anyone else?
Actually some people get it from listening at low volumes
I also had a couple of those ear tube operations. No idea if it's related. You can have tinnitus from birth and it isn't known why. It's different from when you hear the ringing in your ears after exposure to a loud sound.
youtube.com
this will probably work for you
just flex your tensor tympani lmao
living a stones throw away from an air-force base
if you can't flex your tympanis then try this

jesus man, I feel for you, I have suffered with tinnitus for 20 years but not to that extreme, for some reason I have found these particular vitamins help mine alot, they have ginko biloba and a long list of other herbs in addition to normal vitamins which is probably why.
forgot pic
Does anyone else perceive their tinnitus as more of a feeling than something that's heard? Feels like a droning deep inside my ears that travels to the sides of my brain if I focus on it too much.
thanks for your suggestion man. I really sucks but I'm glad you found something to help
'Clean, Shaven' has a few scenes (if memory serves) where a schizophrenic's auditory hallucinations and paranoia flow into tinnitus-like symptoms--then back again. Bretty good film.
sucks for you, dont listen to things that are loud lol
yes mine is like that at times I know what you mean, that feeling quite often is worse than the rining noise
what the fuck i got floaters 2 months after tinnitus , why does this shit happen to so much people , fucking floaters
lol me too, have suffered with tinnitus for 20 years and 10 years ago i was lying on my back looking at the sky and suddenly had this chunk of black shit in my left eye vision, i think it might have finally mostly gone away just recently but i wont speak too soon.
Pi, fuck tinnitus man
I can't sleep without a fan otherwise I get this painful nonstop ringing in my ears
Suicide
I grew up in Republija Srpska and some sandniggers shot my family in front of me when I was a kid.
I once had tinnitus when I got a really bad ear infection and sinus flare. It was a terrible ring for almost a year, the first few months were terrible then it started to slowly go away to the point where I almost didn’t notice it. Then it completely faded after two years.
I've had it for as long as I could remember since a child, I didn't even know it was a thing until I was a teenager but you get used to it though. I just sleep at night with my fan on medium while the tv is on low volume with the sleep timer on. It's very comfy and helps me sleep.
Anyone else get theirs from alcohol abuse? Mine showed up around 2012 after a few long nights and has never stopped..
Subways in NYC
That faggot has Tinnitus? Hahahahaha
Kinda. I fell on my head a lot when drunk
Got mine from shooting guns and concerts
