Episode 5 of Too Old to Die Young was the best tv episode of any show this year. How come neither the show nor Miles are nominated for Emmys?

was this shot really necessary
Yes.
what did he mean by this scene?
I didn't really like it. The lighting and composition were both forced. It insisted upon itself too much and overstayed its welcome.
The Jesus episodes just bring the show way down. It’s better to just watch episodes 4 and 5 and ignore everything else
Best car chase of the year
Honestly, if you can stomach episode 5, you can watch them all
Except episode 2
episode 2 is the pleb filter
literally the best episode
I couldn't get past the first episode.
The over the top long pauses in the conversations was infuriating. I get what they were trying to do but it was painful to watch
>only like 200 people have seen that show
This. It has only 4 thousand ratings on IMDB.
I agree that Miles should be nominated. He elevated the show. Refn’s usual shtick doesn’t work without a very intense and capable actor. I guess it’s why the show was unwatchable whenever Miles wasn’t on screen.
Yeah you can stomach them, they're just not entertaining to watch and they don't add anything to the plot the audience cared about. Miles was the only character with writing/acting that was actually engaging and made sitting through the tedious directing worthwhile. They killed him right when he was getting interesting and the rest of the episodes are about garbage characters nobody cares about.
I still can’t believe that Refn thought that Latina kill bill woman was anything other than cringy.
>tfw season 2 never
What was the most brutal kill and why was it when Martin shanked that mom 15 times
Janey’s death hit hard but it was also shit at the same time because I realized that the show was self destructing and it was actually going nowhere

because it's garbage and you are a faggot with shit taste? that's probably why.
nah she was cool
>vibe check

So was Twin Peaks:The Return. They're at least on par but no one wants to admit it.
I dropped the show because of episode 2, guess I'll give it another shot, thanks.
>Just skip episodes bro
Refn showed episodes 4 and 5 at Cannes because it works as a self sufficient 3 hour movie, and because he knows it was his best work in the show.
What's the context of this?
guy getting dressed to go buy a gun
Their brotherhood was the best part of the show, those episodes were amazing.
I quit after ep4. Just felt like a huge waste of time, all style and little substance. Quit Preacher after ep1 of the latest season, you can just tell when writing is going no where.
Episode 4-5 are probably the peak of the show. It lulls a little after that but the finish is ok. I'm ok with the show being cancelled, but I do hope Refn gets back to films instead.

Filtered
Yes, that's right. I filtered those tv shows out of my life.
all Emmy's (and other awards) are purchased under the table.
Volumes 1-8 was the best television experience I've had in my life.
Should've ended then.
