she retired and made room for the holographic doctor.

God, SGA sucked so hard. Remember that time a dozen actual Ancients showed up and instead of holding them hostage in exchange for zpm's they gave them Atlantis back just so they could promptly lose it to the replicators a day later?

Yeah, I'm thinking youre based.

Leaving Shep in charge. Taming McKay's autism. Building alliances.

Ancients are literal brainlets.

Worst is they reset Michael twice.

Original Weir was so sexy. Shouldn't have replaced her.

It was a great idea, if you think about it. Replicators killed the stupid and superb Atlantians. A bunch of men running a big city, seriously. They were completely retarded.

I flunked out of this because I turned 16. How many seasons did it have? Was it shit? How tf did replicators turn up in pegasus?
Also what are the best SGA episodes?
Only know season2 but that Volcano episode was fucking awesome

I hate the way that they wouldn't let Weir be the sexy leader that she wanted to be. They had to make her look frumpy so she didn't step on Teyla's turf as resident object of desire.

It went on for 5 seasons. It progressively got worse but it still had some great episodes towards the end, for example when the Vanir just come out of nowhere and wreck shit, the Daedalus variations, Progeny, The Shrine etc...

The replicators in Pegasus are the original replicators created by the Ancients to fight the Wraith. But they couldn't control them and decied to destroy them again. Few survived and when the Ancients fucked off back to Earth, one of them recreated them.

Maybe she was one or had the ATA gene.

I swear Amanda Tapping did this too. And it was really fucking weird. Like Martouf was in it and he sucked her titty while they were trapped in an elevator or something.

This sort of proved that the lantians were arrogant stupid and just bad at future planning.
Their race has been dead for 1000s of years.(not counting the Ori worshippers)
The terrans already told them that the Wraith are back and growing in number.
There was like 8 of them from the ship the rescued. No chance of growing any sort of numbers back before the Wraith find them. They kick out the Terrans that found them from Atlantis. Instead of keeping them around. Because the Terrans have actually gave the Wraith losses and could do so much more with the human ingenuity.
If a person with a functioning brain for future planning and tactics was there instead of "I FUCKING LOVE SCIENCE" men. You could have reminded them that sure they could kick you out but then we would have to inform the Wraith of Atlantis. I loved how nobody calls them out for taking the city hostage when they show up. Then the replicators turn up and because of their own arrogance got wiped.
If we ever find a dead races city in space and a few of them show up to "claim it back" i am opining the airlocks on them.

>Original Weir was so sexy. Shouldn't have replaced her.
Didn't original Weir not want to be committed to a TV show for multiple seasons?

>I swear Amanda Tapping did this too.
There are no nudes of Tapping out there otherwise we woould've seen them!

Terribly conceived character, I can't blame the actress. They introduced the character with a different actress on SG-1 and she was insufferable out of the gate (pun intended?). The concept of an NGO bureaucrat who "plays by her own rules" is in itself laughable.

Picardo's uptight nerdy bureaucrat who learns that he can't always play by the book was vastly superior and should have been the route they took with Weir but even when they were making Atlantis Hollywood was incapable of depicting female leadership with flaws.

I'm pretty sure he sucks her tits in it. idk I can't remember since it's been so long. Maybe you don't see everything.

Original Weir was in Armageddon.

user is right. Also, she showed her tits at a movie called The Void.

Weird as hell, seriously.

>just so they could promptly lose it to the replicators a day later
this really did piss me off when rewatching SGA, was there a writer's strike or something?

No. Just the writer's incompetence to do anything meaningful with the Ancients.

The cherry on top was them all being executed offscreen.

Also, the million times they got fooled by their enemies suddenly wanting to make peace, only to abduct them and hold them for ransom.

based Daniel Jackson
But did Michael Shanks think he was too good for the series or why did he drop out like five times and then always came crawling back?

What is it with people who play Daniel Jackson and being greedy divas about acting?

I loved how replicators killed all the ancients and the writers and producers don't even care about showing a single scene of it. I was: "wow, they hate the ancients storyline so much".

He dropped out once.
And, tb h, he was probably too good. He was a better actor than most on the series.

PUNCHING WOMEN LITERALLY IN THE FACE

THIS SHOW IS PROBLEMATIC LMAO

How can one man be so based

He is a so-so actor, just good for scifi shows. But he thought he was a Hollywood superstar. Having said that, Michael Shanks is the better actor of the Stargate franchise by far.

I think Claudia Black has been punched in the face so often nobody cares any more.
She gets slapped about in Farscape a lot.

I can't even remember any plot points but I remember her being annoying.

Incredible

youtube.com/watch?v=-LIcv286zj0

how did RDA get away with it?

How can you, as a male actor, act seriously around a woman who did such a scene? And don't even deflect. Of course the whole Stargate cast watched this scene.

What the fuck am I watching?

Leaving the show.
Mallozzi & Mullie didn't know what to do with the character, I'll always respect the actress for having the balls to leave the show.

>SGA sucked so hard
The first season was pretty good, then they turned the show into SG-1.5 with cartoon characters.

What the hell are you talking about? Are you virgin or what? She just did her job.

>Picardo's uptight nerdy bureaucrat who learns that he can't always play by the book was vastly superior
I liked the SGU episode where Homeworld Command decide to send him and a SG team to take over the stargate base on Jonas' planet. That's the kind of ops that should've been in SG-1.

SGU was good.
Fite me.

Never saw it, honestly. It seemed so fucking boring.

based

Tried to watch it but it was too cringe

She killed herself, but a shame that was undone and we had to deal with her again as a replicator.

Thank you for reminding me of this show OP, rewatching it right now thanks to you.
