Was he a visionary or a spoiled brat?

He was a straight shooter with upper management written all over him

The part where he takes down his cubicle walls has not aged well. Open office floorplans suck

He was a proto neet

A visio.

he fucked lumbergh

Man, I'd kill for a cubicle at work

You can suck my dick, how about that nigger? fuck jannies.

As usual, it worked because he was the only one doing it. Imagine the, "This is accounts receivable, hold please!" lady without even cubicle walls...

he was a typical boomer. He had a pretty good job were he didnt have to do any serious work and his own apartment, own car and everything. but to the boomer its never enough. most people these days would kill to be in his position

BUT I DON'T FLEX
TILL IT'S TIME TO HAVE SEEEEEXXXXX

the company was downscaling and getting rid of people, what are you talking about?

>quits a STEMsöy job
>starts working blue collar construction like a high-T man

even with that he got a management position and if not he would have just been hired by another company at the end of the episode anyway

His problem was that he expected that he would find some purpose to his life in his work, and he realized it towards the end of the movie. He recognized that he would probably never be happy with his work, but as long as he had his friends and he had Joanna, he'd be alright.

That was the point of the whole movie. Working sucks and if you define your existence by what you do or by how much you make, then you'll never be happy with anything.

Everyone forgets the hypnosis scene
He was literally brainwashed into his behavior

>Boomer
I'm gonna need you to go ahead and learn what that word means by end of business, ok? Yeah, that would be graaaaate.

posting from my comfy cube, in here on sunday to make up a couple hours from earlier in the week

yuge U-shaped desk, plenty of privacy, it's lovely and quiet for zoning in on work

He just wanted to look out the window.

You're going back on your own premise by saying it would've worked out in the end

This.

>have my own office and can work from home

Feels guh

>defending cubicles

No thanks, I prefer to slack off where I can see threats coming a mile away.

Solid reply, user and totally right. I’m giving you a (you)

I've only ever worked open plan and I don't mind it if you're just a big group of friends but if you're not its shit.

It worked because he was the only one doing it. All the other wagecucks were still blocked off and he didn't have to deal with their prying eyes, while still getting his nice space and window view since he was at the end.

>work
>big group of friends
you're either lying to us or you're lying to yourself.

You're retarded
He did a non-boomer thing by being unhappy that he was treated like shit and worked a job that took up most of his life

>straight shooter
he should have been
