It depends on what you want for Rambo, I think the end of Rambo 4 where he literally returns home presumably to live out the rest of his days peacefully was perfect but in this one he loses literally everything but resolves to keep living so that the memory of all his dead loved ones can survive with him.

This movie is definitely not non-stop violent action. Only the last like 15-20 minutes is. Before that there's a couple scenes of Rambo killing shit but it's mostly the characters talking and showing how shitty the cartel members are.
