I was lucky enough to see a test screening of this movie. A few things:
>The redesign is great. They fixed his weird face and creepy body shape, but his eyes are still separate. He has his gloves now. They surprisingly knocked it out of the fucking park
>The movie is actually kinda decent, it's not a masterpiece in any sense of the word but it's pretty goddamn solid for what it is.
>The action scenes are total fucking batshit insanity and a lot of fun
>It isn't entirely some wacky but good-natured film, several people actually die on-screen in this movie
>While Jim Carrey's Eggman is pretty humorous, he's ultimately an utterly despicable fucking evil bastard--he's basically the Eggman from Archie Comics.
>Sonic jarringly drops a few "damn"s and "hell"s throughout
