The community has some great cosplayers, but it's important to remember that they're mostly cosplaying as a different vision of the character. The Netflix series is going in it's own creative direction, which means great things for people who already familiar with past takes on the series - new surprises, and a story meant for a TV show. But it also means that you can't really compare amateur cosplaying to the cast. Once the show airs, I think you'll see lots of the cosplaying community shifting over to the Netflix version of these characters, though it'll be pretty hard to top the original in that case.
