honestly 9/10 coming from a capeshit hater
Honestly 9/10 coming from a capeshit hater
>9/10 for this shameful trashpile only a literal retard could ever like
>B-but I hate capeshit hehe
kill yourself
The scenes where mysterio manipulates the world around spiderman were amazing.
are you retard?
Why yes I am. How could you tell?
If I wanted to watch a videogame I'd just watch the PS4 game
agreed, easily best part of the movie imo
8 because Mysterio was perfectly adapted and Gyllenhaal nailed the role.
Pretty fun flick, just not that much substance to it
Kys Ahmed. It’s spider-kino
I don’t hate this genre but I skip half of the films put out, I really did like this one though
>muh PS izzz bettahhhhh!
this forced meme is shit.
Gyllenhall was great as Mysterio, but the more I thought about the movie, the more I realized his plan is really stupid. how could he have known that no other avenger with strong powers would show up and expose his illusions?
How CGI should be used
I guess he figured they were dead or off world, and he found a lot out from ‘Fury’ before Peter worked things out.
It was shit. It was worse than Homecoming. The only half decent thing about it was Mysterio, who wasn't as good as Vulture, hence why it's worse than Homecoming.
Only Dr Strange, Wanda and Shuri can do it.
PYM WAS RIGHT ALL THE TIME, FUCK STARK, BECK DID NOTHIN WRONG
And Captain Marvel
Don't invoke her name.
>world in chaos after snap
>billions of people suddenly return
>no civil war / shortage of resources or massive depression-suicides due to the time skip
>no existential crisis over how half the population should know if theres a afterlife
>LMAO YOLO KIDS GO ON VACATION AND INSERT GENERIC BAD GUY COMES
this is why capeshit only works as a cartoon
That was the best part of the movie by a very long shot.
Only good parts were Jake parts but Jake is a kinolord so it doesn't give the movie bonus points. Plot was dumb and Spider-Man is severely overdone.
>homeless
I can't stand looking at that giant winged faggot.
I want to watch this but after Sony & Marvel disagree to made future MCU Spiderman movies im not sure anymore.
Fuck this timeline. MCU truly ended in Avengers Endgame.
2/10
also coming from a cape shit hater
very much this. The silent corridor scene was great
It was actually comfy capeshit.
Even the zendaya guy was cute
It's not that good user
There was that one scene with mysterio and peter with the holograms but the rest was forgettable trash.
I forgot most of the film the day after watching it and I have a good memory.
It's a spiderman movie but it doesn't feel.like a real.spiderman movie.
Agreed. His charisma alone carried the movie. That bar speech when he got the glasses was great. What bothered me more about his plan is why would he want it? Avengers have shit lives. They are a bunch of loners who have no personal life, get no money and are constantly being targeted by intergalactic apocalypse level disasters. What was his plan if he succeeded anyway? Once he was an avenger, what would he do when some villain showed up? Should have used his technology in a different way to get famous and rich. Be the best magician to ever live on the planet for Christ sake.
It was a decent script flip but at the same time it's the le relateable villain Everyman is the bad guy trope from the first movie
That said I liked it alot only for Jake gylenkino
Shame twinkspiderman really feels gay asf in this movie and has no chemistry with Mary Jane weed or any of the cast.
Also the cgi on spidermans suit was aweful once again
These movies aren't spider-man, they're more like young-iron man.
Im a little stiff
Did they actually cg his face in that poster?
3/10 forgettable trash. posters shit too.
I have a father. His name was Mr. Stark.
I feel like it wasn’t even for himself necessarily, he talks about how “people need to believe in something”. I know he’s a bullshitter and a huckster but it really does come off like he wanted to give people a hero to believe in.
i think that´s part of the reason he chose locations where the avengers would´ve never showed up like mexico, venice, and london
To bad it is the last good Spiderman movie we will get.
Did you watch the movie? It wasn't about being an Avenger. It was about getting what was owed to him. He felt wronged by Tony using his tech then fireing him. We still don't know why he was fired.
whenever i see them interacting it reminds me that this movie is pure unfiltered normie-core
That black teacher with the witch obsession was the best thing about the movie
literally the only thing that made this movie worth watching, I'm so tired of these MCU movies being Spider-Man taking the backseat to a bigger MCU star and defeating a villain who's only on the loose to begin with because he fucked up the whole first half of the movie.
Ok retad
>superheroes
>outside of America
Ok
this, MCU is gonna be too split up over TV and movies now that normies aren't gonna care, plus all of Marvel's big name heroes have had their character arcs
The love interest from the last movie was a 10/10
New one is kinda weird
>You can dodge bullets but not bananas?
Why isn't Tony Stark on the poster?
Yikes. I forgot about that cringe.
Wouldn't normal investigators find thousands of bullet holes and casings at every site of an elemental attack? How would Mysterio explain this?
it's a kids movie, you're thinking about it too much
The web shooters are so stupid. What makes him the spider man if he can't shoot web on his own?
Great movie but one criticism
>elementals are threatening the existence of the very world
>let's get the guy with web cartridges!
how was captain marvel?
This is what ruined the movie for me really. We are led to believe iw and endgame was such a huge impact on the universe but beyond muh next Iron Man it clearly hasnt effected the world at all
His super strength, ability to stick to walls, and spider-sense. The web shooters are to showcase his ingenuity.
It criticizes capeshit through Mysterio's speech, so I have no trouble believing you'd like it. I did too.
>Undead Iron Man
>Spider crawls out of his eye socket
>zoom on spider's facet eyes
>each eye is a fishbowl
>a myriad of Mysterios marching
>the one in front becomes a snow globe wirh Spider-Man locker Inside
Loved that bit, although it doesn't make and sense for Peter, as he wouldn't experience it that way.
it also made commentary about people believing everything they see/fake news so that's another reason to like it
>muh next Iron Man
That was the worst part, like this whole movie was a meta-commentary trying to hammer into the audience that Spider-Man is supposed to be as cool as Iron Man. Cool, Iron Man was a rich playboy with Halo armor but he never saved the world from anything, pretty much all his enemies were ones he created that were only trying to kill him. Captain America actually saved the world on his own twice, and he's just completely forgotten. Spider-Man is supposed to be saving people and taking down thugs, Iron Man never did any shit like that, why are they acting like it's a good comparison?
He didn't arm the drones with bullets until the London attack, he made them do other stuff, like creating underwater shockwaves in Venice.
Yep.
