I am inclined to agree with this, considering how the first one completely changed the action genre for the better. and 2 was great but compared to 1 and 3 it's kinda lackluster.

Seriously though, this was terrible. Keanu and Berry are way too old to be in action movies, everything was so slow and clunky.

This third one got so far up its own ass with lore that it made little sense anymore.

Yeah, it was amazing.
While John Wick 1 was:

>proceeds to wipe out a criminal organization because of a dog
It was infinitely better. The lore was obscure and mysterious and interesting - we didn't need more of their "markers" and 'tuh table" and "the pacts" bullshit. The motivation was funny and relatable. The characters were fun.

This year there definitely hasn't been a better action movie.

1st one was kino, didn't care for the others because they take the focus off Wick for world building and other characters, none of which I care for. The movie should just be a couple of camaraman following John putting himself in fucked situations, nothing more.

It was mostly good. I was surprised the whole super secret society thing didn't fall on its face. But the ending was really disappointing. Isn't the draw of these movies supposed to be "realism?" So how'd he survive falling off the billionth floor?

The second film still had some solid action sequences, like in the subway and the mirror room. John Wick 2's most memorable sequences stand out because they're sick, John Wick 3's most memorable sequences stand out because they're masturbatory and overstay their welcome.

I'm not sure how long that fight scene went on for but it was certainly 45 minutes too long

3 has two great action sequences but is downright retarded story wise and not in a corny and enjoyable way

1 is original with great action scenes and an interesting world.
2 has great action scenes but the world becomes a little too big and cartoony.
The only good things in 3 were the fights against the Asians at the beginning and end. All the gun scenes were muddled. The entire Halle Berry thing was fucking stupid, this is John Wick not washed up hag tries to get a spinoff. Also the world became even bigger and more stupid. Why the fuck is some fag sitting in a tent in the desert the leader?

3 is honestly terrible. It got nothing right. No good villains, boring, shitty action sequences with nobodies that drag on forever, full of ridiculous bullshit. The first one was amazing, the second is good, 3rd is trash.

the only problem im having with john wick is that the action scenes are too good pretty uninterrupted action scenes that immers me so deeply that im about to fall asleep i wish director put some twists within action to break fast pace that after a while become very monotnous
