I legitimately think a short horror series based on the first 6 volume of the manga would great.
It's all standalone horror based around games. Really, those first 6 volumes are so opposite of the card game merchandising behemoth that came later.
Imagine, a series of individual episodes exploring the characters. The initial episode is the first chapter for yugi, then the YoYo episode for Joey, ect. Work your way up to the Death T arc.
Fuck, it'd be amazing. Too bad that fucking hair means a live action version will never happen.
