what if it is revealed one of them is Lando's son how lit will that be?

who gives a fuck

you mean in RoS?

Revenge Of The Sith released like 14 years ago bro

i heard they kidnap rey and rape her before cuttingrrr off her tits

Disappoint the audience.

Not very

What tits?

It's already been implied in the recent leaks that they don't do much throughout the film, but they're being controlled by Sheev from afar + Rey and Kylo kill them all eventually. Dunno if the Matt Smith rumors are true or not.

Tell something to kanji klub

This scene isn't just a flashback from TFA. Rey's "Force Flash" ability can enable her to travel through time at will whenever she wants to. Yes, it's even more ridiculous than the "World Between Worlds" from Rebels. Rey, herself, is a living portal.

So if true what was even the point of them?

They wake up and the end and its all just a force dream.

It doesn't matter what they do, they haven't been in either movie yet so they have no weight with regards to the story.

they will try to hunt someone down, which will result in a dumb fight like in TLJ because they have to get rid of them simultaneously.

fucking this.
i remember when they were rumored to be 'rouge one' fallen members.

job like the jobbers they are

>only just now realising that the new film has the same initials as the last prequel film

Sith > Sith wannabes

It's a bigger production mess than the hobbit trilogy, and that entire arc has been forgotten already. In 5 years no one will think about Star Wars 7-9. This whole arc will be ignored by everything that comes after it.

what if one of them is chewbacca's son, one is boba fett's son, one is jabba's son, and one is admiral ackbar's son

Why the fuck did they save killing Smaug till the third film? It’s literally 10 minutes.
Was it to ((((hype)))) us up cuz it all it did was lead to more dissapointment

What was the point of this whole trilogy?

Money.

The mysteries are many, the answers are non-existent, the plot doesn't make sense.

It's award winning director JJ Abrams! Hurray!!!

>So if true what was even the point of them?
Nothing, really. I guess they were supposed to be badass and awe inspiring Sith 2.0 in a 2nd movie, but TLJ shot that down, so JJ's scrambling to resolve it. They're nothing more than an afterthought that'll briefly be explained in the upcoming Knights of Ren comic that barely anyone will buy. No one will remember them.

Another thing TLJ threw into the trash.

Why the fuck didn't disney just cancel the fucking movie and remake. Surely to god they knew they were putting out a shit product.

It's not even mysteries, it's just dark holes in the plot. Dark holes that shouldn't be there. The origin and background of important character shouldn't be left mysterious unless it has some twist later. It's funny that Lawrence Kasdan wrote this garabge, the same guy who convinced the world he wrote ESB and Indiana Jones.

>It's funny that Lawrence Kasdan wrote this garabge, the same guy who convinced the world he wrote ESB and Indiana Jones.
A lie he managed to spread. Lucas wrote The Empire Strikes Back, even though he gets pretty much zero credit for it. The credited screenwriters for Empire are Leigh Brackett and Lawrence Kasdan. Leigh Brackett submitted her first draft, then, sadly, passed away from cancer. Brackett’s first draft looks nothing like what The Empire Strikes Back would become. (You can read it here; if you’re a fan of the movie, it’s pretty fascinating.)

From here, Lucas took over. Lucas is the one who shaped Empire into the movie that we know today. Then, Kasdan came in to finish up what would become the final script.

It may sound like I’m trying to discount Kasdan’s role in Empire. I’m not, I’m just pointing out that it was Lucas who did the heavy lifting here and that Empire certainly isn’t Kasdan’s movie the way Raiders of the Lost Ark and Return of the Jedi are Kasdan’s movies.

To illustrate this, Film.com‘s Jordan Hoffman had a conversation with Kasdan about the infamous bounty hunters that appear in Empire. As Hoffman tells it, “During press for Darling Companion, Kasdan confessed that he came on late to the scripting of Empire and was hardly fluent in its lore. I was rather deflated to learn that not only would Kasdan not take a side over whether Bossk was cooler than Zuckuss, he didn’t even know who they were.”

George Lucas never accepted a screenwriting credit for The Empire Strikes Back. It’s easy to say, “Lucas didn’t direct or write Empire, so that’s why it’s the best,” but this isn’t telling the whole story.

>ESB
Kasdan got too much credit. Lucas was the main writer of the film ,he rewrote the original script that Leigh Brackett had been hired to write. You can read Brackett’s script online, and it is very different from what ended up on screen (it was discarded). Lucas went back to the drawing board and rewrote the movie (with a lot of overall story changes too, including Vader being Luke’s father). Lawrence Kasdan did all the further drafts of the movie. Leigh Brackett’s main writer credit on the screenplay is Lucas’s credit donated to her out of respect. Brackett’s name being before Kasdan’s in the credit means she (Lucas, in actuality) contributed at least 50% to the final script, probably significantly more. Kasdan helped with details. For example, Lucas came up with the idea of Yoda talking backwards, but it seems that it was Kasdan who made Yoda’s speech pattern consistent/formalised. The dialogue clearly had a lot of work, no doubt improving Lucas’s lines no end.

Lucas was also Executive Producer, and for the Star Wars movies this position is effectively the most important, he called all the shots, made all the decisions. Lucas described his role on the Star Wars movies as like that of a modern TV ‘show runner’. Nothing gets on screen without his approval/decision. For example, Irvin Kirshner wanted Yoda to be a very tall, skinny character, but Lucas vetoed that idea.

Lucas also set the tone for Empire via the original Star Wars. The director, Irvin Kirshner effectively made a George Lucas movie on Lucas’s behalf. Lucas has said that if he had directed Empire it would be more-or-less the same movie, though I think he’s being a little kind to himself there. The shooting style - flat, almost documentary framing, is very Lucas, and clearly follows on from Star Wars.

Replace them with pic related, what changes?

>Surely to god they knew they were putting out a shit product.
They knew. It's highly rumored that Iger, himself, secretly didn't like TLJ, and there's that podcast floating around online about how filmmakers in Hollywood hated it.

The thing is, they released it anyway because they knew normies would flock to it based on name recognition alone. Problem now is that normies are becoming more disinterested in nu-Wars more than ever to the point where Solo bombed, Resistance got cancelled, the vidya content sucks, the nuEU comics are tanking in sales, Galaxy's Edge failed twice, and the latest trailer for TRoS has less views than Joker. TLJ effectively killed Star Wars, a feat that only Disney could manage to do.

>The dialogue clearly had a lot of work, no doubt improving Lucas’s lines no end.
The dialogue in ESB is consistent with ANH so I have no doubt it's his work. Meanwhile Kasdan wrote TFA. Have you seen that dialogue? It looks like it's been written by a teenage school dropout.

>Loss in merchandise
>Loss in box office for Solo
>Loss in attendence for Galaxy's Edge

Man they can't even meet their point.

Maybe if the inject politics in to it that might help?
