Where did they go? Which ones are your favorites? Do you think they will ever make a comeback?

I hope not, most of them were terrible. The ones that were good were actually great though.
the lord of the rings games were fun
two towers
ROTK
third age
the GBA LOTR games were also kino
this game was great
seconded
There were a few wolverine games that were pretty all right, one an oddly difficult stealth based one and the other a gory brawler.
>Where did they go
they became phone games.
King Kong game was pretty decent
Most kino sequence in the entire game

>they became phone games.
This. Even moreso, free to play ones with shitty loot boxes and cosmetic dlc..
I don't know about that, this shit took literally 30 minutes to beat from start to finish
The Warriors
Remember that they would come out a week or two before the movie?
Revenge of the Sith came out 10 days before the movie and basically showed the whole ending. I remember the Spiderman games and LOTR did too
>no one has actually posted anything good yet
Barely counts with the actual topic and that game is shit
Sorry wrong image
Better than the movie imo
I fucking love Eurojank.
Spiderman was the GOAT
warriors and scarface games are great ya zoomer
Came here to post this.
The Avatar game was actually not bad, quite creative.
I'm very surprised there's been no capeshit games this decade. MUA 3 and nu-Avengers look shit.
>movie doesn't resolve the Sandman plot
>the game does
>movie venom was cringeworthy garbage with a retarded voice
>game venom was based with a cool voice
>movie evil spiderman was an idiot jazzdancer
>game evil spiderman was the asshole that evil spiderman would actually have been
>Raimi directed both
What did Raimi mean by this?
>I'm very surprised there's been no capeshit games this decade
what about the PS4 Spiderman?
Ah true, that was a good game. But I mean no MCU games. Injustice was good too.
More creative freedom in games, hence why kojimbo is happily burning Sony's money
That Video Games ARE art.
I admit I'm a fan of the Die Hard games even though some of them aren't that great. Vendetta was a guilty pleasure for me.
>when you get sniped by a Geo-nigger for the third time in one Geonisis match
>that Green Goblin hoveboard crash course narrated by Bruce Campbell
>tfw while all the plebs sat and waited for Ghostbusters 3 I had already beaten it and knew that Ivo Shandor was the architect for the river of slime, which was networked to every spiritually significant historical landmark in NYC and designed specifically for Ivo to attain a godhood that would make Gozer look smalltime.
Has any other licensed game finished a film trilogy?
>Not Die Hard Trilogy 1 & 2
There are less big budget licensed games as they as expensive and don't tend to make enough money back. This is why it's all moved over to mobile. Cheaper and faster to make. Micro transactions out the butt hole. Easy to discontinue when the player base drops.
A ton of middle tier studios bit the dust over the last decade by focusing on licensing other companies IP.
Greatest movie video game of all time.
'the official game of the movie'
based. people still play this, mostly on the weekends though.
*clears throat*
>there will never be a video game version of Riddick 3 where you survive with your alien wolf
I don't know why but i find it so cool that i can see something as obscure as this and sure enough youtube has full play throughs of it.
Dance, Lucy.
Kys
The animations on some of these models are way too good for an obscure licensed PS2 game.
I never played it so I can't vouch, I just remember an x-play review
>ywn be 14 playing rooftop brawls with friends using only hobos and vagrants ever again
I want to go back
the 2d streets of rage style minigame that was in this game was almost as good as the game itself.
Oh shit I actually need to play the Evil Dead games. I heard great shit about them but never got around to them.
stayed up all night with a friend to beat it. absolutely agree
To anybody who actually played this trash.
Did the level really fucking loop?
I love "What If" game scenarios like this, more movie licenses should do shit like this.
Spiderman 2 game was great
The Wachowskis did a similar thing before the madness completely consumed them.
Broke the fourth wall in the Matrix Revolutions game, said the martyr thing wasn't gonna work for a video game, and turned Smith into a giant trashmonster for Neo to kill. It was retarded as shit, but I loved it when I was a kid.
The psp version is cut down as fuck. The ps2 version is based
WATCH
You got some flash?
You see the bugs, man, they're all over my hands. See?!
...THOSE WRIST-ROCKETS
Watch your fire!
He's coming around...
Super Battle Droid, take 'em down!
I haven't played in 5 years and it's still one of the most memorable games I've ever touched.
>Do you think they will ever make a comeback?
no.
