>alien invasion movie
>aliens just fly down in spaceships and zap all our major cities indiscriminately instead of using actual military invasion tactics
Impostor did that and it wasn't great.
>needing "military invasion tactics" against a planet whose most intelligent species has no FTL or orbital defense system whatsoever
Even if niggers of space decided to toss a stone at Earth, we could do nothing against it. Planetary defense is in its infancy at best, when we're still scared of some towelheads throwing together a nuke from spare parts.
MIB you smeg head
>movie where aliens are shown early in the movie to be very strong, conquering other planets
>Make their way to earth
>Get absolutely obliterated by earth military and their alien weapons are too weak
>Turns out the other aliens they easily killed were just very weak
>maybe the true lower species were the aliens killed along the way
halo is so kino in that regards
>aliens attack earth with a vengeance
>humans wouldn't be humans if they hadn't prepared for a war
>utterly destroy aliens with their Spartan units
Sounds interesting actually, cheers user
Based
Pacific Rim
That's pretty much Ender.
This really needs to be a movie, if only to make up for all the media that portrays humans as the boring jack-of-all-stats species
edge of tomorrow?

I remember this, was pretty entertaining
Where's the alien movie where the aliens win?
Cool premise. Perfect for a Twilight Zone episode, no?
how do they build ships and know where the livable planets are
uuuuh starship troopers?
The premise is that space-faring tech is retardedly simple but humans somehow managed to miss it. Their ships themselves are pretty primitive
