why are they using the nazi salute, looks kinda cringy

and here's why that's a good thing

Too expensive, it’s easier to green screen everything. Though with how far cgi has come, building such large sets doesn’t seem necessary. Also epic movies don’t make money these days. Only capeshit is profitable

Money, money, money, is that all you ever think about?

That’s what drives the movie industry, pal

There's more to movies than the movie industry

"Dunkirk" had kms of beach for set
"Once upon a time in hollywood" had pretty big sets

historically inaccurate movies where romans speak english and say "hey dude lol" never fail to make me feel like poopin

>tfw waterloo was filmed using real soldiers
>over 10,000 real soldiers all wearing real costumes
>the scotts greys charge was all real horses and real cavalry men
>ywn see war kino filmed on this scale ever again

we will, it will just be 99% cgi filmed in a warehouse lol

Where is this from?

War epics? No I doubt we’ll be seeing them again
Remember, WAR = BAD

having 12 real guys and the rest green screen cgi is not nearly the same thing

Not everything is political brainwashing by jews. This shit doesn't get made anymore because people don't care about it. And I kind of understand them. Normies watch movies for the individual character driven story, they don't care about a "whole" story with thousands and thousands of faceless soldiers you don't care about.
It's artificial drama that they need.

Also these old historical movies are gay as shit lol I unironically rather watch capeshit.

Its a grave sin that we will never see these 3 films in out lifetime

Mel Gibson's Vikings
Kubrick's Napoleon
Snyder's Justice League

Too expensive, too large for today's studio lots that already have a shit ton of sets from previous films still standing for use in any possible future project. They would basically need to expand the studio lot to house a set that large, which would be added even more cost to the movie.
Retard.

Good old days when classical architecture was white and not painted in rainbow colors for historical accuracy.
