Imagine having to come up with a new Garfield strip every day for 41 years. That is nearly 15,000 Garfield comics. Every fucking day he's had to come up with something. I think it would be very fascinating to be a fly on the wall in Jim Davis' brain. Naruto, for example, concluded with 700 chapters published over 15 years. That was cutting it so close time-wise that the author had to postpone his honeymoon until he was done drawing - several years after getting married.
