I am literally you, I loved California and always dreamt of being there. I finally realised my dream and just got back from six weeks over there, and it’s definitely a letdown user.

Too many crowds, heavy traffic, dirty and neglected parts... it is very photogenic for its landmarks and seeing the cities from a distance, but once you get closer it’s not pleasant.

Only places I fell in love with that gave me hope that a dream is still there to be had was in Big Sur and Laguna Beach, they’re both beautiful but again, the latter costs so much to live in.
