Slow west

Unforgiven
Pale Rider

You just know.

Not even the best of the no name trilogy, watch for a few dollars more.
Big Jake is good, the Shootist, McClintock, the original Django, anything with Lee Van Cleef. There's treasure in thr genre imo

Terrence Hill is still alive. Fuck you for making me check.

Anybody else here know how to ride a horse? I grew up on a ranch with work horses, but apparently it's an uncommon skill.

>pale rider
You I like

Dune buggy

the assassination of jesse james by the coward robert ford

Jenny pls be my wife

Assuming you actually mean "... other than Leone's catalog"

Silverado
The Quick and the Dead
The Outlaw Josey Wales
The Wild Bunch

Some others are OK like High Noon and Dances With Wolves but for the most part, Westerns are usually on the lame side.
Watch all of Sergio Leone's stuff then the four I mentioned. If you are infected with the bug then do research.
Personally, I find Unforgiven to be way overrated.

The Searchers

John Wayne REALLY hates Indians.

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance is the best western ever made.

Attached: image.jpg (1920x1077, 357K)

nah.
kinda lame

open range
tombstone

For a Few Dollars More is the best Western IMO and has Clint Eastwood as the same character from 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly' but in an alternative universe.

This Raimi kino doesn't get nearly the respect it deserves. It's the closest thing any western has come to the greatest film of all time, Mortal Kombat.

Only downside I can think of is that Sharon Stone is in it. If they released a cut that removed her from the movie, it would be an easy 10/10.

The Great Silence might be the best Western ever made and it barely gets acknowledged. It somehow goes under when people talk about western, but it's Corbuccis best work as an director.

Speaking of Corbucci, he made a shitton of great Western aside of Django that are arguably even better than Django, The Mercenary for example is the only legitimately funny comedic Western besides Spencer/Hill I know.

And then of course Enzo G. Castellaris Keoma and Johnny Hamlet, 2 masterpieces.

This is all about spaghetti western of course, but even if you take in account US western such as The Searcher and Wild Bunch, it's hard to find a genre movie better than The Great Silence.

>Silverado

Johnny Guitar is a classic.

>Jenny is an IRL horse girl too
why are horse girls always such femcels
I mean they’re usually rich skinny white girls, you’d think they’d be cool

Came here to post this.

I watched the Dollar trilogy in the following order:

GBU, Handful, FDM

I love GBU and was a bit disappointed by Handful, it was just.... a bit lame. That is why I hesitated for a long time to watch FDM, but holy shit, was I wrong.
I don't want to say FDM is better than GBU and I also don't want to say GBU is better than FDM.
But if you took FDM's story and made a movie today, set in modern times, people would laud it as creative and innovative.
And the main villain there was delightfully evil and crazy.
Granted, it didn't have a finale as good as GBU's, but only because they already had this long, drawn out, huge gunfight before. The sound design was perfect, though. And Lee van Cleef's sharpshooter dude, the bank heist, just great.

So my final rating would be something like GBU >= FDM > Handful

Attached: 1566505254650.jpg (1854x2407, 607K)

That is even better than the Good the Bad and the Ugly.

Rango
Living in flyoverton I've always heard horse girls get into weird stuff because it's like the "white girls fuck dogs" meme except their dog has a two foot long dick.

came to post this

also i was a bit disappointed in both stagecoach and the searchers. the stunts were dope but i just didn't get them

t. plebe

Based, exactly the same order I watched them in. Same feelings as well, apart from I do think FDM>GBU

Attached: 1566101315960.jpg (759x847, 109K)

Horse women are just highly concentrated cat women.

Horse wonen are cat women who are wealthy enough to go professional weirdo

I actually disagree, I think the last duel in FDM beat Good by a landslide.
>when the chimes end, pick up your gun. Try and shoot me, Colonel. Just... try
That was fucking amazing and Blondie with the save with the second watch was so good.
Also am I the only one that preferred Lee in his hero roles? He always seemed so amazing as the good guy in westerns despite being typecast as a villain usually

Attached: Lee Van Cleef - For a Few Follars More.png (487x481, 255K)

>Blondie with the save with the second watch
And that is exactly why I liked the GBU finale more.

I think van Cleef could do both. He has this villainous face, especially with his nose, but he also works as "honorable older dude (who is up for revenge)".

Not all horse women can afford horses. It's a state of mind.

t. ex is a horse woman

>Also am I the only one that preferred Lee in his hero roles?
Is he a good guy or a bad guy in Escape from New York

I like him either way

does this girl fuck horses? are there any vids?
also whats that western with either gregory peck or robert mitchum who has love and hate tattoo'd on his knuckles?? cant remember the actor or the movie, but its kino

Night of The Hunter, it's not a Western it's a surrealistic Southern Gothic film.

>handful

If you like Good the Bad and the Ugly, watch Unforgiven. Those two are my favorite westerners. For Unforgiven though you have to watch it to the end

I've met a bunch of horse people recently and mostly horse girls.
They're not really femcels it's just that they can be pretty annoying like anybody who's in too deep in a fandom and they are very deep into horses (it cost so fucking much I better hope you like horses)
Most of the time they are sex crazed maniac. Just look at horse riding it's basically repeating the movement on sex on the back of a horse.
They have crazy muscular abductor and could fuck your back up if they piggy ride you.
I'm sad I never got to fuck that horse girl because she was wild as fuck.
Also horserider pants is one of the most sexiest thing there is. It's like a legging but less sluty
I don't know if I'd stomach the hassle of loving a horse girl for life but for a short time it's definitly worth it

>Night of The Hunter
thank you!!
also, comes unto your ranch, fixes all your problems, nothing personal kid

western sukiyaki django

the good, the bad and the weird

Stagecoach
High Noon
New Land (1972)
El Topo
Red River

The good the bad and the weird

Its amazing

This guy knows

Asian western, The Good, the Bad, and the weird.
Not super serious, more adventure like

Only one reference to Tombstone? Shameful. Tombstone is a flawless film.

Bullet for the general. (El chuncho, quien sabe?)
Face to Face (Faccia a faccia)
The Mercenary (Il Mercenario)

Other than those, the best of Leone:
Dollars trilogy
Once upon a time in the west

I don't particularly enjoy classic American westerns, I find them much duller and less thematically interesting. A few recent western themed movies have been interesting at least, like The assassination of Jesse James.

I watched this (as a fan of TGTBTU) and wish I could get my time back. I even like stupid tongue in cheek weird east Asian movies, but I hated this.

Shane is based.
Felt like the director saying goodbye to westerns in general, with the archetypical cowboy riding out either dead or not, andnormla folk being into calm life and not that gun-totting craziness.

Attached: 1549882456718.png (719x714, 1.18M)

I liked Rio Bravo a whole lot, it's calm and comfy.

Attached: 1547223188730.jpg (1800x718, 93K)

High Plains Drifter. Eastwood walks into town and the first thing he does is rape the first woman he sees.

zatoichi is also an ok Japanese western

six string samurai is also a cowboy film and we'll never get anything like it again

ironically Jackie chans westerns suck

>westerns
>good

GIMME A STEAK

you have to be 18 and have a father to post here.

It was so satisfying watching them steal the train.

I CAN FIGHT MY OWN BATTLES! I DON'T NEED YOU OR ANYONE ELSE!

young guns is based
I used to autistically recreate it with legos lmao

Disney felt the same about GBU and autistically recreated it with pirates

Attached: JackSparrow.jpg (540x540, 15K)

cringe desu

I whole wholeheartedly hate this movie. Leone's overlong up his own ass filmed 8 hours of bullshit ruined him as a director. Once Upon a Time in New York has that problem too.

The Shootist (John Waynes last film and he was dying of cancer at the time)

Pat Garret and Billy the Kid (Mythical Western)

What the fuck did you watch? Handful? You fucking retarded?

A lot of dommes are into horses.

There's stable nearby and there's always these teenage horse girls. Spoiled white privileged girls, they're sexy in those pats and boots but they look fucking cold.

God, I fucking hate you American millennial subhumans, always going on about race and privilege just because you are useless and miserable.

Not american and it's truth, white girl are fucking spoiled, and they they go on endless rants about patriarchy, but they don't mind their dad's patriarchal money. They're despicable.

You mean what you yourself are doing right now?
People who are poor deserve to be poor and miserable.

Unless you live in a warzone you dont get to whine about being spoiled.
You are just another millennial for whom living in the easiest and most peaceful time in human history isnt enough.
We need to bring the draft back, send all millennials and zoomers, men and women, to active warzones for at least 10 years, then you get to cry about muh privilege.

The loser would commit suicide if his parents stopped supporting his lifestyle

All millennials would, and thats the point.

Not all millenials are brats spoiled by rich parents

Sure, if they were born in war torn countries

>Unforgiven

Growing up is knowing Little Bill was the good guy.

You can live in a peaceful country and still be poor. In fact America has been at peace for so long it llowed a corrupt system thrive.

This is not the good, the bad and the ugly.
It is definitely a best western, but not THE best western.

Reminder
For a Few Dollars More>tGtBtU>A Fitfull of Dollars

>Spoiled white priviledged girl
Why not just stop at privileged /tumblr/ ?
There was actually quite a few black girls and some mixed.
Yeah you need money to have horse it's a gigantic money sink, that doesn't make them bad people.
Actually I didn't really encounter any bad people I enjoyed myself quite a lot.
What's funny is that the owner of the stable were somehow white trash but they were loaded with money. But nice people though

>Yeah you need money to have horse it's a gigantic money sink, that doesn't make them bad people.
Being born rich doesn't make them bad people but spoiled girls are often human garbage, smug and entitled because daddy raised them as a princess, and they're often white even if there are exceptions.

But poor people are often much worse, a lot of them are criminals.

Because he's an Amerimutt, and Americans are anti-white subhumans. Thats why I celebrate any mass shooting that happens there.

FDM has the best soundtrack too.

of course jenny’s a horse autist

why can't we mexicans make good westerns Yea Forums bros? we're literally right there
