TDS is really fucking with Matt and Trey

Unwatchable shit, I can't believe Matt and TRey are still butthurt about Clinton losing to le mean ornage man. I don't like DRUMPFT! anymore and even I'm still annoyed by their Colbert-tier BLUMPF jokes. Scratch that, even Colbert's Cartoon President show had funnier PMURT! jokes.

Last few seasons have been mostly missable.
It's got to the point now where I'm not even looking forward to a new season unless they go back to singular episodes instead of season long story arcs.

The '16 tons' montage was unfiltered kino, though

they legit should have just gone through with hilary winning and made the feminism jokes the season was setting up for. sadam hussein died to a pack of wild boars buti guess Matt and Trey forgot South Park is their own cartoon world and they don't have to mirror whats happened politically each week. this was their chance to escape the cycle of each episode being about whats in the news currently and they blew it. could have had that trump stand-in running canada and made the occasional trump joke that way if they needed to talk about something trump did. basically amounting to "at least we arent in canada right now" joeks and the jokes would hit harder cause they'd be talking about how real life is more ridiculous than the south park world. One of the biggest problems with comedy in the trump era is that its no longer farcical, you could joke about george bush or bill clintons "antics" because you could take them a notch up and it became comedy, with trump hes already operating at the comedic level so you end up just presenting whats actually happening or been said and it becomes tiring and isnt at all a clever jab at him, its just whats happening. the right move was having south parks world have hilary win, make jokes about feminism and stuff resulting from that and then here and there reflect on something happening in the real world and presented as happening in "canada" and being too crazy for even south park: "oh yeah right Kyle, like the president of canada would actually call african countries shit holes! hes one of the most powerful people in the world elected by the people in his country he'd have more class than to say something like that. Hey guys, Kyle here thinks that canadians elected a leader who would openly call african countries shit holes, like he won't even pretend they arent total shit smelling piles of fecal waste dump countires, can you believe that?"
