Let's all be very real here. What are the chances, from 1% to 100%, that an actually spree killing will occur or be attempted that will in some tangible way, be visibly and easily understood to be related either to the Joker, influenced by the Joker or connected to the release of Todd Philips' Joker film?
I put it at a reasonable 15%. Chances are overall most likely the movie will come out, be a hit, millions of patrons will watch the movie and enjoy it and nothing violent will happen at all. But honestly, I know the internet well enough to know that there's a small but plausible chance that you could turn on the news the day of Joker's release and see some skinny ass kid in clown makeup hollering at the top of his lungs screaming "I'm the Joker bitch" right before unleashing a wave of bullets of innocent bystanders or even perforating holes through human bodies like a shooting gallery with a shotgun. I honestly have no idea but most people I know are saying they definitely don't want to go release weekend or at least wait for a while before seeing it in theaters out of fear of being shot.
