Why haven’t they done anything with Willow? We’ve been waiting like 30 years for a sequel.
Enjoyed it. Especially the run time and minimal dialogue
Well, she's like 14, so...
Overrated trash with ugly kids and a shitty ending
>DUR FUCK DISNEY
It was shit because all they did was sign language and not talk. I couldnt be on my phone during the movie and read their shitty subtitles
14 year olds are known for being hideous?
Go make another Star Wars thread Disnigger.
why the fuck didn't they just live next to the waterfall
He's a rookie ya moran.
Where does the pupu go daddy? Are you going to shot in your freshwater and seafood source you fu- hold the fuck, how does plumbing work in this universe? Where's water and power? What they get their electricity or water?
I thought it was fine as a movie even if the entire premise was incredibly retarded along with the whole "Aliens are utterly unstoppable except for exploiting their apparent weakness to sound which nobody ever figured out". The ending was also pretty cliche but I didn't mind the movie as a whole. If they changed the background information of the movie a bit and the state of the world I probably wouldn't have as much of a problem with it as I do.
how did the fucking aliens wipe out earth if a woman who gave birth 5 seconds ago can kill one with a gun?
Bad writing. which is they just did. Same logic zombie movies use.
I dunno most iconic zombie movies the zombies are an actual threat and it ends poorly for most of the cast.
They are an actual threat for a team of literal whos after the world has already gone to shit. To get to this point zombies had to somehow already overcome Choppers, Tanks, Bullets, Heat erosion, Freezing and a shitzillion other things to get to the point where they are which is totally unreasonable in 90% of the cases with Zombie movies as the threat isn't actually that large as they are essentially just humans without any of the things that make us threatening.
Sheer numbers would overwhelm most of the military unless they did Resident Evil/Return of the Living dead route and just dropped a nuke on the origin point and made a military grid around it. They could have easily sidestepped the stupid ending by just showing they could be fought and there's just a lot of them or something.
The Silence is a much worse movie, but at least the monsters make more sense (within the world where such monsters can exist anyway.)
There would never be a point where it would be sheer numbers though. If the infection for becoming a zombie is fast then it would never have spread outside of its original location as it would have been contained. If it is a slow infection then it would spread for a while but ultimately would be contained because the numbers would never be able to truly rise due to it being a slow infection and the response being far faster than they can be created.
Zombies which are created from bites are doomed to only be a local problem. They are scary if you are in the town that it strikes but it would never actually threaten the world.
Well in the Romero movies it's a simultaneous thing all over. 28 Days later it's super fast and iirc contained to england.
Classic Emily Blunt Kino
still a terrible movie
Well yes if its a chemical attack of some sort where they release zombie mosquitoes and other flying nuisances which spread the virus all over the world then it can work. But that is also a world where the plucky hero team will also turn into zombies out of the blue.
You can write your zombie fiction however you want but its usually bullshit if the world is a ruined mess. Both Zombies and the monsters from Quiet Place honestly world much better in a smaller context but I get that the film maker wants them to be alone with no help coming and while it may make more sense for it just to be this one area in jeopardy you won't be able to create the same sense of dread if everyone knows that salvation at X location or at X time.
I don't think the origins or the specifics really matter that much but if you can just shoot the fucking thing it shouldn't have been left for the last 2 minutes.
Honestly. Pixar may be on toy story 4, considering part 5, but they make totally new shit too. Lucasfilm should too. What's their excuse for not?
I think it does but specifically rather than it being a large scale invasion the movie would take place after an ship containing a few of them land one night day in a remote area. The plot is otherwise the same but instead its just a small town being destroyed over night before they figure out it has a weakness to a specific sound allowing them to easily kill them when their bodies are otherwise immune to bullets.
The stakes for the family don't change but the world is less retarded now.
