That's not even a regular e46 M3. That's the GTR version, rare and expensive as hell. And thats just the street legal version, the ingame car was the racing version.

I'm German, our cars, including mercs, BMWs and Audis are traditionally cheaper around here used due their ubiquitous nature and i wouldn't even thrust a regular i6 e36 for that price here anymore. e36 is on its way to the classic car market. Thrust me, I know. I bought one in 2006 for under 5k, just before they completely bottomed out. Looked for one again a while ago and good ones go for 12k and up.
I love BMWs, especially old ones, but boy racer tax is too real, and sadly, global.

The E46 M3 is gonna be a collector car, no doubt about it. Watch for the cracking on the suspension brackets though.

If it was me though I'd buy the Z4M coupe. Same engine in a smaller package, insanely under-produced.

The boy racer thing in Australia seems to stick to Fords and Holdens. BMWs, Mercs and the like get hit by the depreciation stick hard and nobody wants them.
