¿Why are western (wild west) movies so uninteresting and cliche?
¿Is there any good movie in the genre?

¿What? Stop dodging the question
you're a spic. the obvious answer to your question is that you're wrong and have no business watching films if you can't into westerns.
¿why is being a spic relevant to this at all? Also i enjoy films a lot, just not the boring westerns my abuelo watches
ok thread is getting sidetracked by a low IQ race obsessed incel
main question is, whats a good movie to get introduced into westerns if you find them boring?
sergio leone trilogy
westerns are known for having long drawn out cinematography. trying watching them without taking adderall
paint your wagon
Majority of westerns are cheesy cartoonish trash. But the ones that are good are really good. I’m hoping for a modern day resurgence of westerns but gritty dark and violent ones. Modern day take usually has everyone looking way to clean and it ruins the whole feel.
The Searchers, user. It won't be what you expect.
you sound like you were raised by a single mother
Don't act like OP didn't deliberately bait for it.
Anyway, normally I wouldn't answer questions in bait threads but I want to point out that /ourguy/ Sam Raimi's Quick and the Dead is the best western of all time. It's the Mortal Kombat of westerns.
¿¿how the fuck do you know that??
Watch more westerns.
But it is limited by its setting if were speaking classic westerns. However, the themes, stories and filming techniques acquired from the goldon age of westerns are priceless.
post top 5
you're a zoomer fuckhead with the attention span of a goldfish who can't watch a movie without getting bored and checking their phone because there aren't enough explosions and quips.

jesus fuckin christ everyone in this thread is a teenager
kek if any of the philistines in this thread watched that they'd think it was stupid and turn it off after 5 minutes
Watch the Great Silence
I’m 30 faggot and probably watched more westerns than you.
Django Unchained
Watch Wild Wild West. There's a giant mechanical spider, a character named Bloodbath McGrath, and a glimpse of Salma Hayek's ass. It's great!
Grave of the Fireflies
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind
Perfect Blue
Tora Tora Tora
Last Action Hero
not the greatest movies i've watched (how do you even calculate that) but the ones i can think off the top of my head
ive also been forced to watch star wars and LOTR way too many times due to my retard friends. also that druggy film about las vegas with the pirates of the caribbean guy
Most of them are old movies.
Plenty break the mold, as there was a billion of them made. but you have ot hunt them down.
i dont need a 5 minute shot of the desert, i can look out my window for that you dumb boomer
>but gritty dark and violent ones.
Most of the ones being made today are just that. To the point of being cheesy cartoonish trash.
>probably watched more westerns than you
that would be unfortunate considering the absolute state of your taste
>i dont need a 5 minute shot of the desert
the fuck are you talking about. Who told you westerns were slow cinema?
>only watching the Reddit westerns
Kinskino is not really introductory material, user, western or not. The Great Silence in particular, with the alternate endings and the intense vulnerability of so many characters, could destroy an untrained user.
The Proposition and Hostiles
Some terrific westerns:
The Great Silence
Man with no name trilogy
Unforgiven
Outlaw Jose wales
High plains Drifter
Django (both of them)
Once upon a time in the west
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid
You have to enjoy the subtlety, when watching westerns. They tend to have lots of subtext.
The Sons of Kate Elder AKA the GOAT western
You forgot The Wild Bunch there friend which I highly recommend if you havent watched it
Westerns dont have to take place in cowboy times, hell it doesn't even have to take place in the west. Westerns are about the right pacing, plot, and camera shots.
The Searchers is hella boring. OP, try these:
The Run of the Arrow
Broken Arrow
The Rounders
The Sheepman
Guns for San Sebastian
My Name is Nobody
What aboot El Topo?
High Noon
bean here
westerns butter our tortillas
10 pesos says he's a filthy br
only the good the bad and the ugly. the rest are garbage. if you want to see something interesting el topo is probably what you looking for.
The Searchers introduces deeper themes into the Western genre, tho. If OP found westerns boring so far, maybe watching something that subverts convention, but is still recognizably a classic western (John Wayne ffs) would be a good way to introduce the genre.
Keoma
westerns are just capeshit but for boomers
Shut up faggot
The Shooting / Ride in the Whirlwind
