Son of the Mask

American Werewolf in London was my favorite as a kid and still holds up. One of my favorites.

Is there a good Jekyll/Hyde film? I feel like all the other gothic horror stories have gotten good adaptations except for that one

Is The Craft a good Halloween flick?

Not my favorite, but, I recently watched "The Ritual" with my mom, we both liked it and thought that it was very well-made. The setting, atmosphere, soundtrack, how everything was kept mysterious the whole time and the monster was only revealed towards the end and it actually had a nice design. We gave it a 7.1/10, we thought it kind of needed to be a little bit more eventful.

Tried to watch this. Couldn't do it even though the creature's design was pretty cool and well-done.

Always wanted to watch this one myself.

Dr. Jekyll and Sister Hyde

I felt the same. Overall very decent horror flick.

Hugh Jackman Van Helsing is a 10/10

Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein is the best Universal monsters movie.

I watched an older one as a teenager that was done so Mr Hyde was Jack The Ripper.
But I still don't know which one it was.
It might not be as good as I remember either.

Good taste user.

I ususlly watch Dog Soldiers every Halloween and I try to do a Hammer Horror marathon or some other classic horror.

Never seen Carrie, plan on watching it this year. Any good?

Also, how has no one said 28 Days Later?

All of October is Halloween.

RotLD is my favorite Halloween film to watch. It's just so fucking fun and comfy.
And Linnea Quigley is an absolute doll in it

I saw Carrie years ago and honestly can only remember like 3 scenes, I think it's a bit overrated.

I’ve seen both the original and the remake and I barely remember either of them, although I think the remake was more accurate to the book

Don't be mad because your taste is completely mediocre.

How do we feel about WNUF Halloween Special?

Man, someone else who watched it.

It really wasn't as good but I remember a few of the segments being alright.

Also, just finished Halloween 2018. That was a good movie.

Haven't saw it, but planning to this Halloween.

based

Nothing tops it, and it was so ahead of its time

are there any other horror films that are actually unnerving like TCM? It feels so dirty even on rewatch

based

On the same level as TCM? In my opinion, no. Even now when I watch it, it gives me that same feeling

Phantasm series

Some of the best practical effects, and easily one of the best zombie movies out there.

Not bad, but they go overboard with the fake commercials. Funny at first, but becomes big filler by the end.

XTRO

Fuck the lot of ye, the 2009 Wolf-Man is fucking great fun

If you're ok with old movies, try the 1931 version. Pre-Code, meaning they were able to go far enough with it.

28 Days Later is bleak as fuck but fantastic

bleh!

Attached: image.jpg (600x600, 37K)

Underrated

Goes way overboard with the fake commercials, they stop being amusing way too quickly.

The Frighteners is top tier comfy halloween kino

Based bleh poster

What is the cameraman doing there when recording the girl screaming? Like he's zooming in but the girl stays the same size.
