Reminder that this is the best televison show to ever exist. It's writing is perfect and it's the only show where you can confidently claim that every single episode is better then the previous one when watching in order.
It's final season wasn't a complete shit show and it's finale was *almost* perfect. Feel free to debate other candidates below, but please dont try and meme that Game of Thrones is close.

The show isnt dumb. It is well written, its just that almost no one got it. If you liked walt at all, you didnt understand the writing. When did you start to hate walt? It didn't get better every season 1+2 were the best seasons and the rest were still good.
With GoT 1-3 were the only good seasons with the rest being irredeemable shit

The show lost something when it went from Walt and Jessie just trying to get by in an RV to a giant secret underground meth lab.
There was a more personal touch in those seasons (an entire episode of Walt trying to kill one guy, and entire episode of Jessie going to a meth house to collect money) it was a smaller scope and not about the equivalent of two giant corporate cartels battling for drug territory which is what the Gus storyline became. I think that's why they tried to do episodes like Fly to bring that feeling back of a small personal story.

I think I can understand your perspective on this. Personally I think the Gus storyline is by far the most interesting thing the show offers. Gus and Mike are some of the most interesting and best-written characters televison has to offer.
While I personally disagree that the smaller scope was better, I understand your thoughts.

And it was a great episode. Revealed quite a lot about Walters mental state and what he was thinking. It was a relaxing episode that slowed the pace of the show down. Imagine nitpicking a single episode in the middle of the show to make your point.
I'm willing to accept The Sopranos as an answer for best show of all time.

4 fell flat on its face with no chuck or kimkino to hold the show together.
It also missed the boat as it never went to the sequel timeline that it teased in the 2015+ with Jimmy at cinebun

It was an extremely tight package, even extra shit like easter eggs and cinematography was kino. However, Sopranos is way better. Even for the acting, Carmella in that one fight acts better than any moment in BB. Is still really good though. Definitely one of the best.
