6 year olds thought it was cool, and everyone else's brains were already melted by how dumb the movie was.

Cringe

Laughter.

can confirm I was 10 and I thought it was dope

a guy behind me kept saying "oh snap, oh snap yall"

most of the audience got hyped
I thought it was kind of stupid to see this guy fighting with a 10" long lightsaber

This, in the kinoplex I was in at least. It just looked so ridiculous with him hopping and spinning around.

Oh, yes. I actually saw this in the theatre. *sigh* It was a mixture of some people laughing (me) and other people irritated with us.

It wasn't as bad as when Vader screamed "NOOOOOOOOOOO," though. Mine was the lone hysterical laughter. I was lucky to leave without a toy lightsaber crammed up my ass.

Literally one of the greatest scenes i remember seeing in theatre. It was recieved very positively.

I distinctly remember the audience burst into laughter

I was 3 at the time and I can distinctly remember my 2 year old brother losing his shit over how cool he thought this scene was

we all laughed at how fucking retarded it was

It was dumb but fun and I wanted to see what would happen next.

With nuWars on the other hand..

Yeah, I was like eight and was fucking thrilled.

Laughter. AOTC had more audience laughter than any other movie I've seen at the theater. In stark contrast to the confused reaction TPM had and the quiet reaction ROTS had. AOTC might be the worst of the three as a movie, but it was the best theater experience by far.

user pls, I'm trying not to coom here.

hmmm excited, they were. clap very much the audience did.

I thought he'd still be a slow old man and move a levitating lightsaber with the force. I thought Sheev would do the same thing.

I remember the crowd going crazy.
