Unfortunately there came a time when Howard started running out of these oddball characters. Losing Grillo was a massive dent to the show. He was fucking gold whenever you put a mic in front of him and every odd appearance he made after he left was gold.
Rather than pay for these great on-air guests, Howard just let them go. I haven't listened for a while but I heard Scott the Engineer is working on another floor and never on the show anymore. Which is a fucking shame because Scott gave us 30 years of great radio appearances.

I recently got into O&A, but I’m completely unable to get into Stern. He’s such a slimy Jew in all of the interviews I listen to. He always tries to get into sex with guys like Norm Macdonald and it’s a bit cringe. The black girl also adds nothing to the show. She’s worse than Opie.
