Stephen King is not Lovecraftian.
>it's just grass

jesus, we're in for 40 years of king's son doing car commercial with shitskins
He wrote one of the best Lovecraft tribute stories about some stones in a field and an obsessive compulsive disorder they cause.
Looks like shit
>Netflix
>Based on the novella by Stephen King
>LOVECRAFTIAN
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
sure it is buddy
i want to pry her mouth open with my penis
What's that
When are we getting a kino about the good kind of grass?
Was there ever any explanation or theories about the stone and the figures engraved on it and their connection to the grass?
>OOOOOHHHH FEAR THE GRASS
Really?
I remember that one. His short stories are unironically great.
Richard Stanley just did Color out of Space.
He wrote one of the best Lovecraft tribute stories about some stones in a field.
>NO NO NO, NOT GRASS THATS TOO SCARY. THERE'S A LIMIT TO LOVECRAFTIAN HORROR YOU KNOW
Was it good?
>Bill Burr
>Chapell
>Lovecraft
The fuck is going on at Netflix?
>THIS SUMMER
>SOMETHING IS HIDING IN THE GRASS
>wot if you were inna field but it was also the afterloife but also timetravel, mental innit
Woke money might not be enough now that Disney is pulling out their capeshit.
The grass is actually Trump.
Grassposting when?
>He might just be the right guy for the job
I've read all Lovecraft stories including collabs and there is nothing about this that is Lovecraftian
Mfw
Hate to break this to you but you never really got Lovecraft.
Fucking hell, that must have been an awkward meeting.
looks like the kind of meme movie that's taylor made for reddit
He wrote a Boddy Snatchers short story and one about people going into space on a colonial expedition
its just generic ie stephen king horror getting shilled, kinda reminds me of this stupid movie:
youtube.com
>jumpscare in the trailer
>stephen kang
I wonder how people manage to get to these conclusions, it's difficult to believe they have read either of them. Needful Things is one big loveletter. Of course his writing becomes something of their own, heavily inspired by Lovecraft, but built on with his own style. I mean the inspiration and same themes just pop up all over in his books.
I'm up for any horror kino with Patrick Wilson
>Lovecraftian
Nah, it's just more Stephen King trash
