Was Molly's Game (2017) ,starring Jessica Chastain, a good movie or was Sorkin too overindulgent in his delivery?

I mean, she’s always hot(in my opinion)....but I thought she was genuinely good. Her performance in Zero Dark Thirty is still better though, in my opinion.

I absolutely loved ZDT and thought she was phenomenal in it. And yeah, I think Amy Adams is great

certainly didn't have as much fapbait like Molly's Game but probably one of my top movies of the decade

Yeah, Chastain and Evan Rachel Wood (westworld) are probably my top 2 favorite actresses right now.

Amy is great also but I realize I haven't watched enough stuff with her in it. Really liked her as Lois in Man of Steel.

Not too familiar with Evan, Amy was pretty wasted as lois unfortunately and I doubt she's coming back but overall she seems to pick pretty solid movies, chastain seems to be on and off with being in good movies or shit

Evan is great in Westworld

No rush. But as far as Amy goes, you should watch The Fighter, if you haven’t yet. As for Molly’s Game...I don’t think anyone could “hate” the movie. You’ll probably either really enjoy it, or just think it’s ok. It’s not a bad movie by any means

Yeah fighter was pretty good from what I recall, think she shows her tits in that too. She was fine in vice but that movie was a mess overall, and I liked Arrival though I think there's a mixed opinion on that movie on here

The Fighter was super good. Bale was phenomenal in that as well

I really enjoyed American Hustle, but it wasn’t Amy’s “Molly’s Game”, because Chastain was the star of that movie. Still, a great performance though by Amy.
