Why did they start with the best story and constantly get worse?
Why didnt they mix it up a little with the order?
Buster Scruggs
but the best story is the 4th one
they should have started with the last one to pleb filter
Which one was that? The chicken one with the nigger basher?
Jack black fingers getting shot off was prob the funny bit
Why was Buster wanted to begin with? He never starts confrontations, everyone instigates against him because they think he's an easy target.
it was tom waits digging for gold
That was Tom Waits ! Fuck I thought it was Nick Nolte
I need to check imbd
Anyway it wasnt better than buster
The CGI deer ruined it badly
I was just thinking about this in the car today for no reason. Like what was the episode with the guy with no legs called? Minesteriath or something similar sounding?
Ozemandias nm
Meal ticket
He read Ozymandius by Coleridge
>Ozymandius by Coleridge
It's actually by Byron
nolte is fatter
I looked it up its Percy Bysshe Shelley
The best one is 4. 3 is the weakest. 5 is the deepest. 2 is the biggest pleb filter.
reddit dogshit
He's an instigator. He walks around, talks funny, and gives a shit-eating grin to everybody he meeta before lecturing them.
any unfortunate lads?
Coens going digital was a mistake
>Bruno Delbonnel
>TURN UP THE SATURATION AND I'LL WIN ACADEMY AWARDS
>Now there's a pretty girl
Also Stephen Root babbling is some of the funniest shit ever.
I really dont 'get' this movie
Yeah its nice to look at (a bit boring(
But there seems to be trying for subtext or a theme and I cant really get much for them?
Anyone know or is there a YouTube explaination video anyone can recommended
It's fairytales of the west. Stories about a spirit and time that don't exist anymore.
It's probably just the Coens giving another middle finger to Hollywood and doing whatever weird shit they feel like making. There's meta-commentary regarding the stories themselves IN the tales, but I'm not sure if there's any, real life commentary being made in the film.
it's just a collection of short western stories. Some have a moral, some are just good stories. It's literally just supposed to be an anthology book in movie form.
The best story was the last one. A classic pleb filter.
it's about death and how quick it could come in the old west.
>buster is the best, until suddenly he isn't
>franco spends his whole story running from death, but ends up back where he started
so now there's a pattern, the protagonist dies at the end
>now there's two of them, who will die? the man or the cripple? it's the old west - the weak one dies.
>we're back to one protagonist, his death seems inevitable... but he survives the bullet and the other guy dies instead. his victory is sweet because the movie establishes that fate is against him.
>now we've got three protagonists, so who will die? the old man sacrifices himself? sike - the weak don't survive the old west.
and the last story takes place in the afterlife, nobody survives that story.
I could've used more Buster maybe by bookending with him would've been better but in retrospect the Liam Neeson segment is my favorite.
Wut
The closest we'll probably ever get to a live action Bugs Bunny cartoon.

The girl who got spooked hurt me deeply.
