She'd have made a really good Joker to be honest.

She still would. She is batshit schizo.

Hey there, Duvallposter. I've seen your images in the catalog many times before. Politely, would you mind desisting? I'm beginning to understand why Stanley Kubrick took off his left loafer to beat her into the ground every day of filming. She's cute and nice but please stop posting her. A little is okay but a lot...

imagine being the 70s, every other decade is laughing at you

The 70's is extremely underrated. Everyone gets distracted by the flashy 80's, but the 70's is where it's at.

Is there a word for ugly girls that are still hot?

Words lose all meaning when applied to one such as this.

How did Shelley Duvall manage to switch from adorable/beautiful to ugly at any given moment?

Because she has huge oversized teeth, so when she exposes them more, she looks odder.

I'm not usually one for gender-bending, but I'd unironically watch her as the Joker

Also this

Everything after 1968 is garbage, and that gaudy 1980s shit that incels slap over pictures of Nazis is literally vomit inducing.

The 70's is one of the best decades for creative output. I think it was the sweet spot where the creative types had come down off the acid, and hadn't started on the coke yet.

This.
70s is cozy as fuck.

>it was the sweet spot where the creative types had come down off the acid, and hadn't started on the coke yet.

The cynicism had begun to set in, but the dreams had not yet faded away. It was a magnificent cocktail.

I love 70s sci-fi aesthetics.

>gaudy 1980's shit over pictures of Nazis
any examples user?

Just google fashwave.

user, they were doing acid AND coke.

She looks so sexy smoking cigarettes

>Vogue
I really miss the clothing of the 70s. People wore lots of different stuff. It was completely acceptable for even masculine men to wear quite unusual clothing which would be considered 'flamboyant' or 'faggotty' these days. Also, people made their own clothes much more often, and it was cost effective to do so. I remember visiting habedashery stores with my mother. These were everywhere, selling fabrics for women to make clothing at home for their families. Almost nobody does it now, except for a few hobbyists such as myself. These days everyone wears clothes which come from China/Malaysia, and literally 90% of people on any given day are wearing blue jeans (enough with the fucking jeans, Jesus... I know people wore them in the 70s too but not literally every fucking one all the fucking time)

this

>>Vogue
> literally 90% of people on any given day are wearing blue jeans (enough with the fucking jeans, Jesus... I know people wore them in the 70s too but not literally every fucking one all the fucking time)

Well what should i wear then?

Kubrick deserves to burn in hell for ruining this qt 3.14.

While the 60s/70s/80s/90s were better than 00s/10s and what's coming next, they were also a clear downgrade from the 1890s/1900s/10s/20s/30s/40s/50s

I can't stand the cunt girlfriend from Mindhunter but her fucking wardrobe has prompted at least one pic related break for me each episode.

They're just too far away for most people to properly conceptualize. The more recent decades from the 50s up are easier to do so because media increased exponentially with the popularization of television. The further closer to the present we get, the more easier it gets to conceptualize life in those times because of more contemporary media, recordings, etc. Especially those that still linger in popular culture.

She looks like every Dragon Quest XI character at once

Attached: Dragon-Quest-XI-S-Echoes-of-Elusive-Definitive-Edition.jpg (1235x2000, 686K)

>because media increased exponentially with the popularization of television.
It only increased the amount of televised media. But for radio and movies, the early 20th century has far, far more than what is produced even today.

>But for radio and movies, the early 20th century has far, far more than what is produced even today.
I want to say you're wrong but I can't find any actual figures on this. Definitely radio, but there's still quite a lot of radio out there.
And I'd bet that there's more films being released than ever before. Certainly less studios, but there's still a lot from them, and the indie scene is bigger than ever, I'd argue.

>no one posted modern shelley duvall yet

what are you waiting for

Attached: 1525587279455.png (422x309, 99K)

>And I'd bet that there's more films being released than ever before
Full length, maybe. But theaters pre-1960s showcased hundreds of theatrical shorts before mainline movies each years.
>but there's still quite a lot of radio out there.
There are essentially no modern radios series.

Her big teeth are an evolutionary advantageous trait because back when there were no dentures and death came through starvation, the longer and stronger your teeth were the longer you'd be able to chew your food and not die.

Nice broscience

she's so perfect and cute. its tragic she died young

>There are essentially no modern radios series.
True, but religious, sports, and political radio are still pretty big. And where they used to have daily soaps, now Wrangle and Dangle host the daily drive time zany show.

Two words for all the larping pre 90s nostalgics pining for yesteryear...

NO. INTERNET.

>And where they used to have daily soaps
Is that what you think radio serials were?

Fuck you you fucking dick. Fairy tale theater was fucking great.

user...

I was born in the 80s. The internet has done more harm than good. Everybody is so unbelievably fucked nowadays.

Homely

Fuck you I looked.

she's cute you pleb

Are you implying that a daily broadcasted dramatic radio program can't be called a soap? Or are you implying there weren't daily serials, because I assure you that's wrong.

Bullshit. The world can educate itself now. The world is far better off when it can communicate with itself and not just with who the governments approve.

Sorry, I almost forgot, get fucked millenial zoomie.

>Are you implying that a daily broadcasted dramatic radio program can't be called a soap?
Westerns are soaps? Sitcoms are soaps? Detective drams are soaps? I guess everything on television today is a soap. And no, they weren't daily you fucking retard. They were weekly in 99% of cases. And I assure you, I really fucking do, that you've never listened to a radio serial in your life.

Globalism is great

Let me guess. 9/11 was a hoax? Manmade climate change is a hoax? The moon landing was a hoax? The Jews?

>The world is far better off when it can communicate with itself.
Is it really? Because the only message that's getting across right now is "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH".

No, why?

We are talking to each other from different countries in real time right now you daft cunt.

this life is pain

Attached: 434234325235.jpg (760x619, 280K)

literally me

She still wouldn't look that bad with heavy makeup like all the other oldies use.

Many older hollywood actors would look almost as bad as this without makeup and surgery.

It truly is. If we could just get some of the world's wealth to the world's people and not it's overlords, things would take a steep turn for the better.

Jeff Bezos should be eaten, and his wealth spread around a bit.

Killing a rich guy and spreading wealth won't fix anything. You have to fix broken laws, corruption and somehow get multiple governments to cooperate. I don't see how it can happen, to be honest. Humans suck.

my nigga
70’s is peak in terms of music, film, women

Attached: 25F1E072-F545-4870-9214-C0476F40CBA6.jpg (736x1018, 170K)

I sincerely hope she's doing well.

I disagree, millions of people who can afford a chance at having a home and a career will make everything better. Do you know how many houses Bezos could buy?

Wages and conditions have been slowly dropping off from the employee and being funnelled to the employer at every increasing rates since the 70s.

That's where to start fixing the problem, a cap on affordable housing, etc.

That's why the 70s and 80s seem golden, people had a better shot at the game back then.

>Westerns are soaps? Sitcoms are soaps?
I said dramatic programs. Westerns are adventure and sitcoms are comedy.
>I guess everything on television today is a soap
Most dramatic shows on television today can be reductively criticized as a "soap", yes. And I never said serials were ALL daily soaps, but if you wanna be a technical douche, daily soaps due to their frequency probably make up a large percentage of radio media pre-1960.
>They were weekly in 99% of cases.
Prove it, fagoli.
>And I assure you, I really fucking do, that you've never listened to a radio serial in your life.
No I haven't. Regular talk radio interests me more.

>no AIDS
>sexual revolution at its peak
>New Hollywood movement
>disco (fuck you I love it)
>peak classic rock
>peak drug culture
>bell bottoms
>Burt Reynolds
yea, I’m thinking the 70’s are based

>I said dramatic programs. Westerns are adventure
Wrong. Many westerns were dramas.
>Most dramatic shows on television today can be reductively criticized as a "soap"
No.
>daily soaps due to their frequency probably make up a large percentage of radio media pre-1960.
No.
>Prove it
You have burden of proof.
>No I haven't
There you go. Yes, you're a fucking moron who tries to argue about things you have zero knowledge of. Congratulations, you drooling piece of shit.
>Regular talk radio interests me more.
Typical low IQ behavior.

She was perfect as Olive Oyl

Attached: Popeyeirl.jpg (1200x1589, 117K)

I like how 70s clothes accentuated the female form without being slutty

>The cynicism had begun to set in, but the dreams had not yet faded away. It was a magnificent cocktail.

Is that quoted from somewhere, because that's the most based thing I've read in a while

Watch season two of Fargo if you haven't already freind.

>You have burden of proof.
You made the claim that 99% were weekly. It's on you. I asked first, we've made several unsubstantiated ones so far, so tough titties you should've asked earlier.
>There you go. Yes, you're a fucking moron who tries to argue about things you have zero knowledge of.
You don't have to listen one to understand how they were broadcasted, because the information is easily available through a google search. Just like I don't have actually see an extinct species to learn about it. Stop being a faggot.
>Typical low IQ behavior.
Are you kidding me? Rich coming from the guy who has to listen to his fictional bullshit, because real discussion about past and current events is too boring.

"No"

>NO you have burden of proof.
You made the claim that there were daily soaps.
>You don't have to listen one to understand how they were broadcasted, because the information is easily available through a google search
Then why haven't you posted a single correct bit of information? You tried to talk about their content. You were wrong. You tried to talk about their broadcasting schedules. You were wrong. The simple fact is that people who don't listen to golden age radio don't know shit about them. Wow!
>Are you kidding me?
No, I'm not. Go listen to your low IQ talk show. I bet you also get your information on various subjects from Youtubers.

Wow I’m in love

I changed my mind

o fuck

Ive never fallen in love and then out of love so fast
A strange feel

who wears pants pulled so far up?

>You made the claim that there were daily soaps.
Wait, what? This was the point of contention, you don't think daily soaps exist?
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soap_opera
>The first serial considered to be a "soap opera" was Painted Dreams, which debuted on October 20, 1930 on Chicago radio station WGN. Early radio series such as Painted Dreams were broadcast in weekday daytime slots, usually five days a week.
>In 1930 radio station WGN asked Irna Phillips, who worked for them as an actress, to create a 15-minute daily show "about a family," to air during the day. Painted Dreams was the result.
>Then why haven't you posted a single correct bit of information
Coming from the dude who think daily soaps don't exist (and weren't serials for some reason), I'm gonna say that's probably not true.
>No, I'm not. Go listen to your low IQ talk show. I bet you also get your information on various subjects from Youtubers.
Fiction is about as low IQ as it gets. Go listen to your pirate adventure hour, the adults have politics and history to discuss.

Most pants used to be worn at the naval line until about the 1980s.

New female joker is looking fantastic.

>Painted Dreams
Do you have proof of it being a new episode everyday? Additionally, that's one example. The 1% to the 99% that I already said. Coming from the guy who has zero experience with radio serials, I'm going to call you a moron again.
>Fiction is about as low IQ as it gets
Nice low IQ statement. Go back to your youtubers and howard stern, retard.

>Do you have proof of it being a new episode everyday?
Oh what, it's not daily if they take played reruns one week?
>The 1% to the 99% that I already said.
There's that claim, but I see no proofs.
>If you don't listen to Private Dick's Dicktective Bonanza, that means you watch pewdiepie and like shock jocks
Low IQ caveman reasoning.

>goalpost moving
>false claim of burden of proof
>"i know you are but what am I"
That's (You) alright.

>goalpost moving
How is that goalpost moving? If it doesn't meet your utterly pedantic definition of daily which is nowhere close to industry standard in any decade, it doesn't count?
>false claim
So you can't back up your claim then?
>what am i?
Unga bunga me need fiction, reality make sleepy.

...

Looks like an Australian with those big fish lips and huge Chinaman teeth

wtf does that mean you retard

this makes me sad bc she looks and talks like my mom who has dementia :(
