No, we won't get an adaption. This is because it would cost too much to do proper animation for the Pokemon. This would mean a lot of money. Detective Pikachu had $150m budget and only got $431m. Netflix (who has a shit budget and doesn't give a flying fuck about quality) won't do enough. I don't know if any of you saw Love, Death and Robots but the first episode was about monsters fighting each other. If you got that company to do the animation, I guess, it could work.

tl;dr, if Netflix did it, it would be mostly talking and very little actual Pokemon. The anime will always be superior.
