What a hot take
This will surely cause controversy

Don't get me wrong! They're certainly some very fun movies--but a movie being fun doesn't necessarily mean that it's legitimately good.

Correct, it wasn't good but it good worse with prequels and new Star Wars.

Honestly, to me, they're kind of all the same--significant differences are just a reflection of the point in time in which they were produced.

As action movies, they are feasible. As sci-fi movies, they are garbage.

The first 3 at least felt like they were trying. Still they didn't try enough considering the final product.

Everyone sees things differently, I suppose.

Star wars is the same as capeshit.

No... no, it wasn't.

Now, maybe. But it was not always so. It was old-fashioned adventure and idealism and excitement, and it only happened every few years, and it was epic. And everybody, young and old, enjoyed it.

A New Hope is the only good one.
Also fuck Lucas and his tacked-on CGI rocks and shit aliens.

Star Wars fags need to grow up and get over it, already

True

This is legitimately the gayest fucking post I've ever seen.

This but unironically
the era in which I grew up in is, objectively speaking, inherently far superior to what kids are brought up with these days
