So much potential, especially with the Michael Rooker bit at the end, but the writing and cast were utter garbage. Reminds me of I Am Legend with how they just kept dropping the ball, then shitting on it.

Anything James Gunn produces ends up being a great concept with terrible execution.

Legitimately the least enjoyable film I've ever scene. Takes the idea of an evil superman, the easiest idea to make fun, and somehow makes it stupid and boring as fuck. The kills are all somehow weak as shit, there's jumpscares everywhere, and the movie is so fucking loud that I got a headache halfway through it. Fuck Brightburn.
