Give the man his trilogy Disney, he deserves it.
Rian Johnson's Knives Out
Oh look. Another genre deconstruction.
Indisputable proof this movie will suck and only faggots will enjoy it
>it's a slow burn character driven ensemble cast that subverts the tropes of the genre
It's all so tiresome.
The cuck isn't a bad director. Last Jedi is still a shitty movie though.
>oh, he pisses off the rational people?
>"10/10, great film, too bad incels!"
it's all so predictable, and transparent
If you dislike this movie, it makes you dislike The Last Jedi, which somehow connects to you supporting Trump.
You're only as good as your last movie.
So that would mean he's getting the trilogy?
He's a shitty human being and a gigantic faggot.
>100% critic score
>Good
user, I...
This
I dunno man I haven't seen it.
I believe it could be really good, but I think I remember some reviews mentioning that it handles current politics or Trump or some shit. I don't know if that's just the reviewers being faggots and trying to talk about their views, but if the film actually has political social commentary shoved into a fucking murder-mystery then I'm just fucking out. Rian Johnson can make good movies, but I don't care about hearing his political opinion forced into a film that doesn't need it.
>Rian Johnson can make good movies
No evidence of that. His career is a meme.
FUCK OFF he make good films
Does he? I've got heard good things about Looper but I really don't know if people like his filmography. TLJ was bad and you can't dispute it, though.
Is this John Titor? He hasn't made a single good, or even decent, film back in 2019.
Looper and that goddamn psychic kid were about as good as licking rosie o'donnells penis
dicks out
Kek
Fuck this movie looks like something I’d really love and Daniel Craig is by far my personal favourite working actor but holy fuck I just cannot overlook Johnson’s fuckery and petty behaviour on social media, at time literally insulting fans because they didn’t like TLJ. I personally haven’t even watched TLJ because of this. Maybe I’ll get over it one day so I can enjoy knives out
Evans is a mad fucker in this. Makes my girl wet just to think about it
If this had been any other writer and director, this movie probably would have been pure kino. You'd be hard pressed to find a better cast than that. I look forward to the user score driving to zero at least, there's no way the audience is going to like this smug SJW bullshit. And since it's Rotten Tomatoes, I'm sure all negative reviews will be disregarded as Russisn hackers and then banned.
Yes please only based Rian can destroy Star Wars even further
My favorite part is when Chris Evan's slowly pans to the camera for a close up and say Fuck Trump. Pure Kino.
I stopped paying attention to film critics when they collectively jizzed their pants for The Force Awakens.
another fuck drumph movie. no thanks. good to know critics are still retarded political shills as always
There is simply no way the critic reviews are genuine here. This is pure, paid for agenda pushing. They are protecting this faggot's film at all costs because the groupthink tells them to and because to do otherwise is admitting they were wrong about The Last Jedi too.
amazing how it pisses off privileged twats like you. As a white guy, this movie is a sobering revelation for me as to how the world can improved and recognizing our own inherent problems as a group.
tl;dr you're an idiot with no taste in art
I love the And Then There Were None whodunit trope, but I have a feeling this movie is more of an ironic, self-aware version of it. Or a morally condescending deconstruction of it. Can anyone confirm?
>critics get caught shilling for disney, the last jedi is so bad the jig is up and everybody knows they're paid off
>now they have to build up this talentless hack as the new kubrick to cover up for it
LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Did they not already do this with Gosford Park?
Hi Rian this movie doesn’t look terrible but I choose not to support you or Star Wars due to the feeling I left the theater with last Jedi. I didn’t feel happy or sad about it, just empty now I felt the same way about it with force awakens but the collective experience of talking with friends about it was part of that experience, the discussing of last Jedi just made it worse and worse. Funny thing is you would’ve had a genuinely great movie if you chose to end it 40 minuets ealiee(wouldn’t have been perfect since that casino scene would’ve been there) but you would’ve had an actual cliff hanger ending, not a depressing still of shitty characters coming together under some faux schmaltzy premise if family. So yeah, the choice you make under corporate contract are still your choices, just as it’s my choice to not pay for this movie it’s your choice to continue making them so have fun
He's never made a bad movie.
Look all the female critics with blue hair said that movie is really good
TLJ is a bad movie. It is a poorly paced, poorly written collection of tonal clashes and universe-breaking misuses of setting conventions.
Looper is a bad movie. It can't even follow its own rules regarding how time travel works, regardless of how stupid they are, and the entire "rainmaker" subplot only comes off as the writer being out of ideas for a way to conclude his story.
The Brothers Bloom I've never seen, but I've never heard anyone exactly heaping praise on it.
Brick is OK, but not exactly ground-breaking.
Rian Johnson is not a great director, and he's far from even a good writer. He was rejected from USC's film school multiple times and to this day, I have no idea whose dicks he's sucking to enjoy such protection from criticism.
tic toc Rian
>The same critics who lied to you about Johnson's last movie say this one is perfect. Doesn't that make you want to see it?
I just watched the trailer, it's just an American version of Gosford Park in a modern setting, and by American version I mean with terrible writing and unfunny dialogue that would only appeal to a child or a stoner whose chronic user of cannabis which has resulted in the permanent infantilising of their brain, I mean you can't seriously think the 30 seconds of Chris Evans telling people to eat shit is somehow funny or witty dialogue
It looks shockingly bad.
The only review that matters
Who bets when they open it to audience reviews it's rotten.
I don't know if you're American but why is American humour in tv and film so lowbrow and immature? Do American adults really find naughty words and fart jokes funny? Because it comes off to me, an Australian as they actually think it's the pinnacle of comedy
>As a white guy
>our own inherent problems as a group
hello, moshe
100% wow another best movie ever. How fo they keep doing it
They did it with fucking Clue the movie.
I look at it as him trying to return to his comfort zone. If your assessment is accurate and it's pretty much a lift of the premise of Gosford Park, it would just be him doing the same thing he's done in the one film he's yet made that's somewhat decent - Brick.
