Why the fuck is this show not more well known?

its kinda goofy, very much a product of the 60s
tried to get into it but it was a bit whacky and zany in that 60s way

got some good quotes though
I AM NOT A NUMBER I AM A FREE MAN

That would be telling.

it's pretentious and not very well written
the conceit gets old very fast
the effects are fucking ridiculously dated

because it had shitty production value like everything on british tv until like 2005

>I can't understand it, therefore, it's bad

I love The Prisoner and I wish there were more love for it, but I have to admit the ending was too absurd for me - its fantastic set up gets fully overridden while disappearing up its own arse.

People know the Prisoner, you underaged fuck. They even remade it a decade ago with Ruth Wilson and Ian McKellen.

>Every film before the 2000s is shit

no, just whatever you like

post yfw you realised the intro was actually you are, number 6

didn't mean to reply to (you)

How did they pause time in the pilot? This shit is whackadoodle my man.

Am I the only one who remembers the remake?

i remember it. i didn't watch it. but i remember it.

It was weird, and not in a good way. Like Westworld S2 but even more of a clusterfuck. I only remember a few moments from it.
Turns out it was an inception-like dream simulation the whole time

Hits too close to home for all the NPCs. Brilliant show.

the only part i've seen of it is the webm of haley atwell running up a hill breasts a heavin

Because a story that goes against the underlying philosophical orthodoxy of the modern world is both detested by the elites and not understood by the average person.

They didn't pause, everyone stood still so they didnnt fucking die

Whose side are you on?

Because it's over 50 years old

That's bullshit by the way, it's a superb production - the budget was very high for the time, £1.2m in today's money, full colour, the remastered version looks amazing
