youtube.com/watch?v=ndhPFQHmvBk

Text says

"Time Has Come For A New Protagonist"
"Time Has Come For A New Kind Of Mission"
"From Cristopher Nolan"

"TENET"

Budget is 225 Million. That's 1,3 million a minute. Warner is going All out. Ludwig Gorransson is doing the score since Zimmer Fucked up and fucked off to do Dune (90mill)

Cast:
John David Washington
Robert Pattinson
Elizabeth Debicki
Kenneth Brannagh
My Cocaine

Pattinson and Washington play dual protagonists who will occasionally switch places (HEAT, PRESTIGE style) and it's about causality loops
A film to surpass Inception, finally. A Time travel movie by the director destined to make a time travel movie.

Best thing about nolan kinos is seeing every other filmmaker copy him in the next few years and failing miserably

based

Cunt at least post the release date

>225 million dollar budget
Why are Nolan movies so expensive, is it because he refuses to use cgi?

This is the most expensive original movie of all time right? WB must be sweating.

They ain't sweating. His movies always make money, royalties for life, gets talked a lot, etc.

How much are you getting paid?

Is Debicki the biggest woman since the silent era?

for you

yeah, and he shoots on very expensive film using expensive cameras at expensive locations
you can clearly see where the money goes... the visuals of his movies are going to age perfectly

BRAVOΛ∀ЯB
NOLAN∀˥OИ

Let's not forget most Nolan criticisms came from mcu-tards who at the time felt his movies were outshining their kids capeshit.

Not really, Nolan is not that good. Overrated for sure. His films are mediocre, they are not 100% trash like MCU but lot of his newer films are mediocre or bad.

he is one of the most renowned filmmakers of the 21st century everywhere. His films get accolades everywhere in the world, not burger blog shit that rotten tomatoes counts. With tenet he will probably top the list and have the more mentions of the century. And he does this by doing big budget movies.

>Main character is a colored person
Pass.

Just watched the teaser.
>Negro close up for one minute
Yeah no thanks anglos.

They are bad. Some user summed up his style in another thread, he was pretty much on the money. Nolan doesn't know visual storytelling, he just uses characters to spoonfeed the audience etc. He makes big budget films for people who think they are more intelligent than they actually are. They think they are smarter because they watch complicated films by Nolan. They are not complicated, they just create the illusion of being complicated. The same people who praise Nolan are the ones whose cinematic knowledge is limited to him, Tarantino, Fincher, Spielberg and Hitchcock.
>80% of film will be characters explaining the plot
>characters spouting exposition so every low IQ retard in audience gets it
>robot like dialogue
>no emotions whatsoever
>action heavy
>bad choreography of action scenes
>the whole film will have 4 colours: blue, gray, black and white due to his colour blindness
>bombastic soundtrack that will remind the audience when to be worried
>no visual storytelling whatsoever
>badly edited
>time gimmick
>egregiously stupid
This is what some other user posted, with the exception of colours i agree with this.

>NOLAN
>KINO
pick one.

>They are not complicated
Indeed, because you have characters telling you how the movie gimmick works for long boring minutes everytime.

Yes, everything is explained like as if everyone in the audience was mentally handicapped.

>Nolan doesn't know visual storytelling,
if you want to learn a bit, read this book davidbordwell.net/books/nolan.php and you'll understand why Nolan is a pure kino master.

>>badly edited

It's not that his movies are badly edited. It's that they are over-edited. Nolan shoots sooo much footage that a show that cost half a million might only take up two seconds in the final edit. The Interstellar climax is a good example. Any other director would have made sure that his money shots are well placed. Nolan literally just shoots too many money shots so he doesn't have to care about editing them well, he can just juxtapose them chaotically and they sort of work (especially thanks to the music).

>black male lead
>blond female lead
yeah, no thanks

>Yes, everything is explained like as if everyone in the audience was mentally handicapped.
There should be a different cut for Americans and the real kino cut for the rest of the world.

I don't need to read a book about him.
I thought one action scene in TDK with the trucks was very badly edited. It was so chaotic and illogical and not in a good way.

The book is mostly a visual analysis of his films and structure. To say he doesn't understand visual storytelling is just being a brainlet.

>I thought one action scene in TDK with the trucks was very badly edited.
no, you saw a video of a idiotic critic complaining about muh 180 degree rule.

He may understand it, he just doesn't apply it.
What video?

I got your p a l i n d r o m e kino right here, losers

Holy shit thats one ugly fucking stork looking woman

dune will blow it out of the fucking water, based zimmer

% of film will be characters explaining the plot
>>characters spouting exposition so every low IQ retard in audience gets it
>>robot like dialogue

These three are Jonathan's fault tbf, chris has made digs at him at the past for this but he is scared to fuck him off because he doesn't have anyone else to write his films
