NOT cats!
This CGI is also 10 years old.
This was also the first ever feature film to make heavy use of CGI (as in >95%)
Marlel shit literally wouldn't exist if Avatar never existed.
In 10 years you'll look back at IW/Endgame and think the same. Except they won't be remembered as a milestone for the entertainment industry, unless you count being the biggest brown-smeared npc capeshit in history as an industry milestone.
Also before Avatar cgi was considered a thing for crappy action movies that couldn't do anything with make up.
Lotr used cgi when they couldn't with cgi and stop motion models
To be fair, LOTR does hold up better than Avatar, but still. Same company.
You think they use those blue cucumber things to masturbate with?
of course NOT! they already have their tails for that
Neytiri probably holds the record for most blue cucumber things fitted into butthole
for coom
A NIGGER LOOK SHE'S A NIGGER THROW HER ASS OUT SHE'S A NIGGER
please do not call Neytiri "A NIGGER", it's both offensive and incorrect
Tall girl 2019
But the point is that LOTR used cgi because they couldn't with models and animatronic puppets.
Avatar started the everything cgi trend
nah cheap CGI enabled the all CGI trend in the vein of MCU flicks. Avatar is CGI as a work of art and proof of concept, not because it was cheap
Movie of the year, coming through.
I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just pointing out that the same company had made visual effects 6+ years earlier that held up better in the long run.
CGI has never been cheap. It isn't cheap. The barrier of entry is lower than it was in the 90s, but the ceiling is higher than ever. Avatar proved that it was possible to invest 100s of millions to make a full-CG movie that wasn't just feature animation, make it work and turn a profit.
Avatar started the trend of main characters in cgi costumes and vfx scenarios. Before it was just cgi make up like Two-Face in Nolan's Batman
the average moviegoer doesn't care about the cealing though. They just look at the brand/do what the adverts tell them
True, but the only ones who can afford top-tier CGI already are the ones who manage to herd the sheeple to go see their movies. So only thing they can sell is the flashiest CGI they can afford.
do na'vi women have catfights?
fun fact, that huntress and the red-painted clan leader is played by the same actress
They are cats, so yes. I bet there is a lot of hissing.
but does it turn sexual?
