Are you new to comedy or something? This is how comedians work. They put together a set, trying the jokes in clubs, until they can consolidate it into something that is long enough for a special. If you go to see Chapelle this year, for example, you're going to watch him do the same jokes that he's going to do on his next special, with a few jokes being cut, and a few new ones added later.

That's how every comedian in the business works.

I just watched Paper Tiger earlier today and man, I gotta say Dave Chappelle wasn't lying when he said you couldn't make fun of the LGBT community.
Critics shit all over his comedy special but Bill didnt say one single thing about them and everyone is saying it was amazing and super funny.
They literally proved Dave right.
