It's Amazon so the propaganda is x99999999 WAY toned down compared to Jewflix, you're not gonna love it but you're not gonna hate it either, it really depends of your taste, I liked The Boys and The Boys included that anti-christian propaganda, but it didn't ruined for me.

I have a pretty high tolerance for it as long as it isn't the entire thrust of the show, if they just crowbar it in like The Boys I can generally just tune it out until it returns to the actual story.

CNN has been circle jerking over how "timely" the show is in this "era of Trump". First episode seemed to be all British rednecks in mutton chops oppressing immigrants. If you don't consider it SJW, what plot would qualify by your standards?

It treats serious issues with kids gloves, and you could make up SJW bingo cards to play along with each episode. Your preconceptions are teased around episode 5, I think, but they never follow through and it's all two-dimensional propaganda.

CGI can get a little wonky. Story is alright and the series could really just end for the main characters. Setting seems to be the most interesting thing, but it's not really that deep.

I liked it but if you have a low tolerance for certain issues then it might not be for you, the themes of exploitation, colonialism and racism are very much central to the whole thing.

Not what makes it good though, strip away all that and the characters are pretty good and it has a decent plot.

An example of sjw stuff in shows I could think of is casting non white actors/actresses in historical or mythical roles that don't make sense, clearly made to rewrite the history with a more "diverse" leaning, like a black achilles or black lancelot.
I'd also include some works of fantasy depending on the setting, like lotr and the witcher where the wrong ethnic casting for diversity reasons break the immersion and consistency of the setting. This setting doesn't have the same limitation and has in universe reasons for it.

Portraying racism in a realistic manner in industrial fantasy london with its in-universe history is not something I'd refer to as sjw stuff.

Whilst it isn't the entire thrust of the show, which isn't actually related to race relations at all but just a political thriller/murder mystery, it is a big part of it and it comes up again and again.

That said, I didn't feel like I was being preached too by the creators like I did with The Boys so much, it deals with the subject matter but it is pretty even handed and doesn't get overly judgemental. You're shown moral and immoral people on all sides and when people treat others badly, it isn't always purely to establish them as a villian or go "look, look how bad racism is!", there's generally a purpose within the plot for it.

That said there is a really prominent white female/black male interracial romance complete with pseudo-cucking as part of one of the storylines that might trigger certain people

I did like that they explained the diversity of the humans within the city in-universe rather than just handwaving it that all 19th/20th century cities would obviously be multicultural, they added in a bit of history about a previous wave of refugees arriving in the city from further south and accounting for the mixture of light and dark complexions there. Little touches like that I think help to make it more believable, make the casting feel part of the world and less solely for real-world political reasons.
