lol existentialism
Lol existentialism
is this the most important agnostic film?
This
Larry.
How are you?
I didn't like a single Cohen movie, but I violently disliked this. Contrary to what you're all thinking, not because of Da Joos.
I was thinking it was because you're gay actually
I was thinking cause you’re dumb dumb dummy actually.
If you disliked this movie you should actually consider killing yourself.
>To say that critics have been perplexed by the film is an understatement. One reviewer described it as “gentle but dark.” The Jewish reviewer for the New York Post seemed more conflicted than most. This is not surprising since A Serious Man is certainly the most anti-Jewish film Hollywood has ever produced. It makes Jud Suess look like Fiddler on the Roof by comparison. The Jewish thought police raked Steven Spielberg over the coals for directing Munich, but Munich comes across as an Israeli propaganda film in comparison to the Coens’ A Serious Man.
OH NO NO NO
>gentle but dark
Holy fuck nothing about this movie is gentle, the main character is completely fucking broken by the end, entirely stripped of his masculinity, is about to be diagnosed with cancer, and his son may or may not die as well.
one of few movies I've actually turned off within the first 15 minutes
Try watching it again in 10 years.
A Serious Man is the Cohen's best movie and The Big Lebowski is overrated.
What those other anons said. Your taste is bad. I don't wish to share your taste in this life or the next. If I had your taste, I'd be unhappy with myself.
My favorite Coen movie
Hey hey hey. Not all of their movies are good, but none of their good movies are overrated. I can’t speak to your opinion, man, but I still notice new shit in the Big Lebowski and I have no earthly idea how many times I’ve seen it.
Hudsucker Proxy and Barton Fink, on the other hand, are vastly underrated.
I really liked the zimbabwe jew Simon Helberg in it, any other kinos he's in?
Just saw this yesterday. It fucked me up senpaitachi.
Lol I remember watching this when I was like 18 years old and it fucked with me pretty badly, made me lose total hope in a stable life. I had so much empathy for the guy, just in disbelief from each event and unrecovered before the next one happens. Made me pity myself a lot. I love the movie now, makes me motivated to secure my self confidence. No event like that would rock my life now, I would immediately deal and solve it.
mental midget
>I didn't like a single Cohen movie
this is a confirmed low iq trait btw
Why does it scare you guys to be reminded of what a small amount of control we have in our lives, and how all of our efforts to find meaning in life are ultimately destined to fail?
Just look at this thread. Isn't it beautiful!
Nice fully fleshed out argument bro. To tier Yea Forums post.
