After WW2 was under way, the jews that had refused to leave were put into camps, just like the Japanese-Americans the US put into camps. They were seen (rightfully) as a security risk.

"The holocaust" and all of its myths (gas chambers, electric floors, lampshades etc.) were created post-war for political purposes and to punish Germany. Jews died, but not systematically, and not anywhere near the numbers claimed.

Jews were detained in camps. Jews starved in camps. Jews were not gassed by the millions. There was no systematic effort to exterminate all jews by the Germans. There was no 6 gorillion. Jews in camps had typhus and were de-loused with zyklon b just like people, ships, and warehouses were all over the world. The Germans were blockaded and starving, therefore their prisoners starved as well. The combination of typhus and starvation due to the blockade resulted in a lot of prisoners dying. The 'holocaust' is an event GREATLY exaggerated in order to increase the political power of the jews and their ability to manipulate others for their benefit post WW2.

As someone who had the same issue, go out, fall in love, date, get friends who you truly care for and care for you, takes time, but when you get there, even if those relationships end, you learn to care for people, to understand people, even the shitty ones, I could be wrong because I'm not a psychologist, but from my experience and from other experiences from people within my life, empathy can be taught and "trained", just takes a good comfy environment with the right people. 1st dude, I find most people suck and I've never been in a situation even similar to yours. But when I find good people, I put a lot of effort into maintaining those relationships and finding different interests to connect over.

You could probably go on meetups for cinema fans and easily find friends. Again you'll probably find most people to be rotten if you're already having trouble connecting, but seriously just one person could make a difference and then connect you with more people.

To me this movie has close to no faults. It is genuinely entertaining and features an insanely good performance. It really feels like a movie from the past, 70s Scorsese. The soundtrack is also great. I was never bored, which is very rare for me these days. If I really have to nitpick I’ll say that De Niro could have used more fleshing out and screen time.

1. I was always kind of viewing this movie as a whole, I felt bad for Arthur the same way I felt bad about the entire sordid state of Gotham in this movie. The universe depicted is just dark and nasty. But no, to answer your question I mostly looked at Arthur as a violent insane person who desperately needed help, the tragic part was he’s in a world that can not offer him anything. This is what made me feel bad. Arthur is very much a “bad guy”. 2. This happens after joker goes on Murray’s show and shoots him in the face. Joker then screams at the cameras saying things like “this is what happens when you treat people like shit!” And this sort of incites a mass violent upheaval in Gotham. Joker is in a police car after killing Murray and he’s freed by other criminals (they crash the ambulance into the cop car to free joker). 3. If you mean the part that send him into becoming the “joker” and losing any semblance of Arthur it’s when he learns that his adoptive mother lied to him and also abused him as a child. He first begins murdering people when some Wall Street guys fuck with him in a subway train. 4. I live in Toronto and was able to snag tix this year at the film festival. It was a hot ticket I guess I just got lucky. Tickets to public are limited and sometimes you get solid picks sometimes you don’t.
