I live in a shithole country, and my local sort of childrens cartoons channel played this on a saturday morning at 10 am. I kid you not, they were probably going through movies they bought, saw that this has dolls and a little girl protagonist and thought it is a childrens adventure movie

It was surreal, some kind of news show where first graders are interviewing kindergarden kids saying silly stuff, then fucking pans labyrinth starts, with a bunch of breaks for toy comercials, and after that they rolled episodes of sponge bob

the average kid spends more than 2 hours in front of a TV/computer every day.
At some point you run out of "good" shows, and start watching mediocre or even less than mediocre shows.
